It's called Camo Colors and I would love to have your ideas on how to increase sales.

I'm running google ads which are extremely expensive at the moment. Negative ROI.

Hey there, Welcamo here! @Asafsky As you can tell I like the premise and design of your store quite well actually. Here are few suggestions I think could help you out

1) In addition to the men and women’s sections in the store, you should consider adding categories for best sellers and latest arrivals.
2) Maybe add a short write up on the background of the store and the story behind the idea and what not

3) Add some customer testimonials on the homepage, this would help to give your store a proper sense of authenticity

4) In terms of the marketing, maybe you should consider more social media based adverts in place of the google ads as those could be more effective.

I wish you and your store the best of luck!

Hey Asafsky,

Heddy from Gameball: Loyalty Program & VIP here!

To increase sales for Camo Colors, consider optimizing your website for conversions—ensure that product pages are visually appealing and have clear calls to action. Engage customers through social media and email marketing, sharing user-generated content and special promotions. Since Google Ads can be costly, explore more cost-effective options like influencer marketing or collaborating with niche bloggers in your space. Building a strong brand community can also drive organic traffic and sales. Once you acquire new customers, it’s crucial to retain them, and Gameball can help with that. Our loyalty program has a positive ROI by rewarding repeat purchases and encouraging customer engagement. You can also leverage it to reward customers for leaving reviews and posting on social media which really helps get the word out!

Hi @Asafsky,

The homepage shows a huge image. I think I would make this smaller so you can show some actual products as well. I also immediately receive a form pop-up, which I don't like (even though there is a discount offered I don't want to immediately enter my information).

The following points can potentially lower customer trust:

- Your contact page is missing an address and phone number

- Contact information in the footer menu leads to a different contact page, should be the same page as your header menu (also, remove the sentence "Please, do not spam")

- Your policy pages show Gmail addresses, should be your domain/brand

- The refund policy has a sentence: "Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: [Sending Vendor]". Should be your address.

- Terms of service also contains tokens: [LINK TO PRIVACY POLICY]

- Also some social proof would be nice, i.e. reviews (although this is difficult if you have no sales, and you don't want to lie)

Best of luck with your store!

Hi @Asafsky ,

This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Free Landing Page Builder.

I have just had a look at your store. Your store is well-organized but a little simple. I would love to provide my recommendations for your store so that it may gain more sales. May it help!

1. Improve your announcement bar and hero banner

  • The banner is very significant in hero material. It is the first thing customers see when they visit your website. Let's get consumers to know exactly what you're having in 5 seconds first. Your current banner does not show off what you sell, does not attract customers, and the CTA button is hidden:

  • Make the header smaller to improve UX and make room for other key content

  • Improve your announcement bar with a countdown timer and make it sticky. It’s important to make it sticky even when scrolling down to keep reminding visitors about the promotion. You can take this as a reference:

2. Fix the mistake on mobile

Do you know over 8.9 billion users create a mobile-dominant world nowadays? That's the fact from Statista research. Building a mobile-friendly store isn't just an option, it's a necessity. You should check all pages and make sure the page is responsive on all devices. Here are some mistakes I found so that you can fix them: The page has a white space when we scroll it to the left:

3. Improve your Product media (image/gif/video)

By providing multiple product images, including those that show the item in a realistic setting, you can help customers make more informed purchasing decisions. Seeing your product in context allows them to better visualize its size and how it will fit into their lives.

You can consider adding videos or GIFs that can bring your product to life and make it more appealing, ultimately driving sales.

4. Classify and add CTA buttons

A primary call to action button is one of the important things for the home page of an online store. With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, a product page, etc.

On your homepage, if I want to buy a shirt, I need to click to visit the collection page > product page > add to cart.

You can add more buttons under your products so visitors add them to the cart easily.

The discount badges might help them be more attractive too.

5. Add more content on your homepage

  • A brand story helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more professional.
  • Moreover, users' perceptions of the site or brand can be positively influenced by the returns policy, and any warranty or guarantee information, which can reassure them that the site is trustworthy. Your information is quite hard to see on Product page now, make it clearer.

Besides building attractive and powerful pages, you should spend time focusing on marketing strategies too. Let me know if you have any questions.

Good luck and have a nice day! Cheers!

Hi @Asafsky

I’ve looked into your situation and checked out your store, Camo Colors. Running a print-on-demand (POD) business, especially in a niche like camo designs, can be challenging, but there are definitely ways to improve your sales. Right now, your main issue seems to be that Google Ads are not yielding a positive return on investment (ROI), which means you might need to refine your marketing strategy.

Here’s what you can do to increase sales:

1. Target the Right Audience (Your Ads Might Be Too Broad)

  • Since you're in the camo niche, you need to ensure your ads are reaching the right buyers. Instead of broad targeting, narrow it down:
    • Hunters, military enthusiasts, survivalists, outdoor sports lovers.
    • People who follow camo-related brands or influencers.
    • Use Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel to track who is actually engaging with your site.
  • If you haven’t already, try retargeting ads for those who visited but didn’t buy.

2. Improve Your Store’s Conversion Rate

  • If traffic is coming but not converting, your store design, pricing, or checkout process might need optimization.
  • Make sure product descriptions are clear and persuasive. Highlight the quality, uniqueness, and appeal of the camo designs.
  • Consider adding customer reviews and testimonials for social proof.
  • Use urgency tactics like limited-time discounts or “Only X left in stock.”

3. Leverage Organic Marketing to Reduce Costs

  • Since Google Ads are costly, try Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Pinterest to showcase your camo designs on real people. Camo enthusiasts love visuals!
  • Partner with influencers or micro-influencers who are into hunting, outdoor sports, or military aesthetics.
  • Start a Facebook Group or Reddit community around camo fashion and outdoor gear.

4. Offer Customization or Bundles

  • Give buyers the option to personalize their camo apparel with their name, specific colors, or designs.
  • Offer bundles (like a camo hoodie + matching hat) for a discount to increase average order value.

5. Improve Your Website Speed & Mobile Experience

  • Many print-on-demand sites struggle with slow-loading product pages. If your site isn’t loading fast, visitors leave.
  • Check it with Google’s PageSpeed Insights and improve where needed.

6. Try Other Ad Strategies

  • Instead of just Google Ads, experiment with Facebook and Instagram Ads (they’re often cheaper and better for apparel).
  • Test Pinterest Ads since camo patterns are popular in outdoor and fashion niches.
  • Try email marketing—offer a 10% discount for first-time buyers in exchange for their email, then nurture them with follow-up emails.

Final Thoughts:

Your store has potential, but right now, it seems like your traffic isn't converting. Focus on refining your audience targeting, improving your store’s conversion rate, and reducing ad spend with organic marketing. Try implementing one or two of these strategies first and track the results.

If you need any other assistance, feel free to ask, and I will try my best to support you.
Best regards,
Daisy.
