Hi @beautyhomezuk,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. We are MooseDesk, a comprehensive Live Chat, FAQ & Helpdesk App designed to elevate your customer support experience.

First, your store looks stunning and the product layout is very professional! It also has quite enough essential information. However, we can make it even better. Please check some of my recommendations below.

1. Add a favicon

Adding a favicon can indeed contribute to converting visitors to shoppers, although its impact might be more subtle than other elements. It helps users quickly reorient themselves if they accidentally navigate away, potentially salvaging sales

While a favicon alone isn't likely to dramatically increase conversions, it's part of a holistic approach to creating a professional, trustworthy, and user-friendly online store

Here's an example of the favicon:

2. Add a second image on hover

A second image on hover allows your customers to see the product from different angles or in different contexts. For example, you can show the clothing item worn by a model or styled differently.

This can encourage users to interact with product images and keep visitors on the page longer, thus increasing the likelihood of purchase.

3. Add customer support section

An FAQ page

A comprehensive FAQ page can significantly improve sales by addressing common customer concerns and streamlining the purchase process. You're not just providing information but you're actively addressing barriers to purchase, building trust, and creating a smoother shopping experience through the FAQs.

A live chat widget

Live chat assists potential customers instantly, addressing their questions or concerns in real time. This can prevent abandonment and encourage purchases.

Hi @beautyhomezuk! I'm Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.

I took a spin around your site and tried to experience from the pov of a customer looking for furniture, I would like to share with you some of my expectations when I shopped, along with detailed explanation on what your site has satisfied and what are missing:
- Diverse Product Range, reflecting in a variety of styles, sizes, and categories clearly organized. Your business does provide lots of options for furnitures and decorative goods. I realy appreciate this.
- Quality Assurance: The materials are well-stated in the desciption, however, there is no quality assurance certificates for your products. Customers might be hesitated to purchase for the products without any assurance. Considering adding an quality assurance badge here: https://prnt.sc/q2uhD4x2Jkrt
- Transparent Pricing: I would like to praise you on this. Clear and reasonable pricing for different budgets.
- Detailed Information: Your product page is very detailed, in fact, you do include a lot of information about your products. Good thing is that customer get an overall picture about the product, on the other hand, your product page looks kinda overwhelmed with information and text: https://prnt.sc/Tv6GHNA9IvEC. This make your page looks untidy, and customer might churn from it due to 'wall of text'.
=> You should summarize your description and make it clear, concise with an emotional appeal that resonates with the buyer. Here is an example of a good product description:
The Elmwood Modern Dining Table
Transform your dining area with the sleek and timeless design of the Elmwood Modern Dining Table. Perfect for hosting elegant dinner parties or enjoying everyday meals with family, this table is where memories are made.
- Crafted for Durability: Made from premium solid oak wood with a natural walnut finish, the Elmwood table is built to last for years while maintaining its stunning appearance.
- Elegant Design: Featuring clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic, this table complements modern, Scandinavian, or mid-century decor styles.
- Ample Space: Comfortably seats up to 6 people, making it ideal for gatherings, big or small.
- Easy Maintenance: The scratch-resistant surface and water-repellent coating make cleaning effortless.
Dimensions:
Length: 72 inches
Width: 36 inches
Height: 30 inches
Whether you're hosting a cozy brunch or a formal dinner, the Elmwood Modern Dining Table combines style and practicality to elevate any occasion.

- Product page: Another room for improvements is how you name your collections. For example, as I select the collection 'Furrniture', by looking at the cover photo, I would expect that the collection will include sofa, sofa pillow, dining tables, carpets, etc. In fact, the collection only displays very few options, most of them are tables. I might feel a bit let down.
Other than that, I think you can add some tips for styling products and virtual tools (e.g., AR) for visualization, or simply add some realistic photos that sparks creativity. You can also consider running ads to reach out to larger customer base.

Hi, I’m Wayne from Akohub. We have been working with many brands to run online stores. I have viewed your website and hope our expertise can help you.

Your website showcases a comprehensive product category, which is a significant advantage for improving user experience and contributes to higher engagement and potentially increased sales. Having a good SEO score is an ideal start, but if you're not seeing the traffic you hoped for, it may be time to explore additional marketing strategies to boost visibility. One effective approach is to invest in Google Ads and Facebook Ads. The ads allow you to target specific audiences who are likely to be interested in your products, helping you reach potential customers right where they spend their time online. By launching these ads and further combine with retargeting campaigns, you can remind visitors who have previously interacted with your site about the products they viewed or added to their cart, encouraging them to return and complete their purchase. When users visit your site, they may browse several items without making an immediate decision. Retargeting helps keep your brand in front of these users by displaying personalized ads across various platforms, such as social media and other websites they visit later.

To help you launch marketing ads effectively, consider using our Ako marketing app. Our app simplifies the setup of retargeting campaigns and provides features that make managing your advertising strategies much easier. It can help you create tailored ads that resonate with your audience while efficiently tracking performance across different campaigns. By integrating these marketing strategies and tools into your approach, you can enhance traffic to your website and ultimately drive more sales.

Best wishes! If you have any more questions or need a free professional consultation, feel free to let us know! Don't forget to like and mark it as a solution if you find this helpful.

Hi @beautyhomezuk

I took a look at your Shopify store, Beauty Homez UK, and I can see you’ve put in a lot of effort into it. First off, I think it’s great that you’re being proactive by restarting the store and working on the SEO. Here’s some honest feedback based on what I noticed:

1. First Impressions:

  • Design & Aesthetic: Your store looks clean, but it might be a bit too generic. Home decor shoppers often look for a “vibe” that resonates with their tastes—make sure your branding is consistent, appealing, and reflects your niche (e.g., minimalist, boho, modern luxury, etc.).
  • Logo & Branding: If you already have a logo, make sure it’s high-quality and aligns with your store’s theme. If it looks too simple or unpolished, that can reduce trust.

2. Homepage:

  • Hero Banner: Your homepage could benefit from a more eye-catching hero banner with high-quality images. Use lifestyle photos that showcase how your decor can transform spaces.
  • Call-to-Actions (CTAs): Are your CTAs clear and inviting? For example, instead of just “Shop Now,” try “Transform Your Space Today” or “Explore the Collection.”
  • Load Speed: I noticed your site took a few seconds to load. A slow site can hurt traffic and conversions. Use tools like Google PageSpeed Insights or Shopify speed optimization apps to improve this.

3. Product Pages:

  • Descriptions: Are your product descriptions engaging? They shouldn’t just describe the product; they should tell a story about how it fits into a customer’s life. Use descriptive and emotional language.
  • Images: Ensure you have multiple high-quality images for each product, including lifestyle shots. People want to visualize how it will look in their home.
  • Pricing: Check your competitors in the UK market—are your prices competitive for the value you’re offering?

4. Traffic & Engagement:

  • Marketing: Are you running ads? Organic SEO can take time to show results, but combining it with paid strategies (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram) can bring in traffic faster. If you’re not running campaigns, start with a small budget to test what works.
  • Social Media Presence: Do you have active Instagram or Pinterest accounts? These platforms are ideal for home decor as they’re highly visual. Post consistently, use hashtags, and collaborate with influencers or micro-influencers in the home decor niche.
  • Email Marketing: If you have visitors but no conversions, start using tools like Klaviyo or Mailchimp to capture emails and send engaging follow-ups or newsletters.

5. Trust Signals:

  • Reviews: Are there reviews or testimonials on your product pages? If not, that can make shoppers hesitate. Try apps like Loox or Judge.me to collect and display reviews.
  • Policy Pages: Ensure your refund, shipping, and FAQ pages are visible and well-written. Shoppers want to feel confident they can return an item if needed.
  • Secure Checkout: Display trust badges and ensure your checkout process is smooth.

6. SEO Considerations:

  • Keyword Relevance: Just having a good SEO score isn’t enough; are you targeting keywords that people in the UK are searching for? Use tools like Ahrefs or Ubersuggest to validate your keywords.
  • Meta Titles/Descriptions: Make sure these are enticing and reflect what users might be looking for.
  • Blog Content: Add a blog if you don’t already have one. Write about home decor trends, tips, and inspirations to bring in organic traffic.

Actionable Steps:

  1. Revamp your homepage with a focus on visual storytelling.
  2. Double-check your traffic sources. Use Shopify Analytics and tools like Google Analytics to see where traffic drops off.
  3. Launch a small paid campaign on Instagram or Pinterest targeting UK-based home decor enthusiasts.
  4. Build trust by displaying reviews, testimonials, and clear policies.
  5. Test your store speed and optimize it using apps or by compressing images.

If you want, I can guide you through specific areas (like crafting better CTAs or picking the right social media strategies).

If you need any other assistance, feel free to reply and I will try my best to respond.
Best regards,
Daisy
