I need feedback on my very first store ! (The results are not very good. I think :p)

Hello everyone!

I created my very first store and I would greatly appreciate your opinion!

As of the time I write this post, I am on my second day of announcement and the results do not seem to be going in the right direction.

First, here are the results I obtained with TikTok ads:TikTok ads.png

Summary for
-the first day : 4 653 impression, 29 clicks (to my page product) and 0 conversion.

-the second day (only 15h trought the day) : 3 264 impression, 39 clicks (to my page product) and 0 conversion.

For a budget of 60$ a day (110 in total) is this actually that bad ?

Additionally, I would appreciate feedback on my store's product page since I have no conversions, adds to cart and no emails (for question):
https://shapediva.store/products/new-v-back-bodysuits-yoga-jumpsuits-women-sleeveless-solid-sexy-rom...

Please note that I actually have no knowledge or experience with dropshipping in general.
However, I'm used to receiving constructive criticism so please don't hesitate to say what's good or what's terrible.

My goal is to create a store that works well. One day ;D

Hi @Tommy953

Since you’re looking for honest feedback, I’ll break it down into two parts: your TikTok ad performance and your store/product page.

TikTok Ad Performance

For $60 a day, your impressions and clicks aren’t too bad, but the issue here is zero conversions. A few things you might want to evaluate:

  1. Target Audience: TikTok is very algorithm-driven, so if your targeting isn’t spot-on, your ads might not be reaching people who are actually interested in your product. Look at your TikTok ad audience settings—are you targeting the right demographics, interests, or behaviors? For example, a yoga jumpsuit might do well with women aged 20-35 interested in fitness, yoga, or wellness content.
  2. Ad Creative: TikTok thrives on engaging, authentic, and eye-catching content. Does your ad feel like a native TikTok video (relatable, fun, or inspiring)? Or does it come across as too polished or promotional? If it’s the latter, try tweaking it. I’d recommend testing UGC (user-generated content) style videos that show someone using your product in a natural setting.
  3. Click-to-Conversion Path: Getting clicks but no conversions means there’s likely a disconnect between what people expect to see (from the ad) and what they find on your product page. Your product page needs to instantly grab attention and answer, “Why should I buy this?”
  4. Ad Metrics: Focus on the CTR (click-through rate). A CTR of less than 1% can signal that the ad isn’t connecting with viewers. For reference, TikTok ads usually perform well with a CTR between 1.5%-3%.

Suggestions:

  • Test different ad creatives (focus on benefits, not just aesthetics).
  • Narrow down your target audience.
  • Try retargeting people who’ve already engaged with your ad.

Product Page Feedback

I checked your product page, and I can see areas where it can improve significantly to convert visitors into buyers:

  1. First Impression: The page feels a bit bland, and there’s not much that screams “BUY ME NOW!” You’re selling a visually appealing product, so the page should evoke excitement and confidence.
    • Use larger, higher-quality images that showcase the product in action (e.g., someone doing yoga or stretching in it).
    • Consider adding a short lifestyle video to show how the jumpsuit fits and moves.
  2. Product Title: “New V-Back Bodysuits Yoga Jumpsuits Women Sleeveless Solid Sexy Rompers” is a mouthful. Simplify it to something like: “V-Back Yoga Jumpsuit - Sleek, Comfortable, and Stylish.”
  3. Product Description: Right now, it’s very generic and doesn’t sell the product. Focus on benefits, not just features. For example:
    • Feature: “Soft, breathable fabric.”
Benefit: “Keeps you comfortable and confident during intense yoga sessions or casual outings.”
    • Highlight unique selling points. Why should someone choose this over thousands of other jumpsuits on the market? Think about fabric quality, fit, versatility, or even sustainability.
  4. Pricing: At $39.99, it’s affordable, but have you tested whether free shipping or a bundle offer (e.g., “Buy 2, Save 10%”) could sweeten the deal?
  5. Trust Signals:
    • Add customer reviews/testimonials (even if you need to source initial feedback from friends or family who’ve tried the product).
    • Include trust badges (e.g., secure checkout, money-back guarantee).
    • Offer a clear return policy.
  6. Call-to-Action (CTA): Your “Add to Cart” button could stand out more. Use a bold color (like orange or green) and add urgency: “Limited Stock – Order Now!”
  7. Email Capture: Since you’re getting traffic but no emails, try using a pop-up that offers a discount (e.g., “Get 10% off your first order when you subscribe!”). People love incentives.

Additional Suggestions

  • Social Proof: Consider adding social media icons or embeds showing your product in action (e.g., TikTok or Instagram posts).
  • FAQs: Address common questions about fit, material, care instructions, and shipping times. People hesitate to buy when they’re unsure about details.

Final Thoughts

Honestly, this isn’t bad for a start—most people don’t nail conversions right away. Dropshipping is a learning curve, and you’ll get better with time. For now, focus on:

  1. Improving your product page to make it look more professional and persuasive.
  2. Tweaking your TikTok ads to test different audiences and creatives.
  3. Building trust and credibility (reviews, policies, email capture).

If you need any other assistance, I am willing to help!

Best regards,
Daisy

Hello there Tommy @Tommy953  I have had a look at your store and here are a few suggestions I have on how it could be improved.

1) It would be good for your homepage to have sections for both newest products and best sellers on the homepage.

2) It’s nice to see reviews on your homepage but I think they could be organized/presented in a better way possibly. You could consider using the judge.me review app for this.

3) You should include a section for FAQs where you can share more information about your products that customers would really like to know about.

I wish you and your store the best of luck!

Emmanuel

I hadn't thought about that at all and I think it's a great idea.
So I'm going to make some changes to my store and redo a campaign (with retargeting ads).
I really want to test the product one last time before trying another one 🙂
A huge thank you for your time!
