After 4 months into a new shopify store, I finally got it looking the way I want. Unfortunately, my customers don't seem to agree.
Website:
https://festivaldripofficial.com
About my Analytics:
I have no problem getting visitors to add products to cart, but most people leave before creating an account or on the checkout page.
Free ship over $50, otherwise under $5.
I have thousands of products and recently downsized because I thought too many options were overwhelming customers.
I have heatmaps set up (why is why its so damn slow) but they don't tell me why my bounce rate is so high.
Most of my traffic comes from social media where I target my demo.
Conversions just under 1% (0.92 or something, I forget the exact amount)
Been messing with ads and want to step up my spending to flood my site with traffic, but I need to get a few objective opinions about my site beofre I'm comfortable pulling the trigger on that.
Specifically, I'd like feedback on:
- First impressions on my homepage.
- Navigation menu
- Good UX / Bad UX features
- How smooth is my product page?
- What can I improve about my checkout page (where 95% of visitors bounce)
Help me out guys, What can I improve so I don't waste a ton of money bringing traffic to the site that doesnt convert? Much appreciated.

Hey FestivalDrip,
I checked out your store, it looks good but I can see a few things that might help.
Your homepage looks nice, but it doesn’t instantly show why someone should shop with you, maybe add a clear “why us” or special offer up top.
Your navigation is okay, though the heatmap script might be slowing the site which can spike your bounce rate. Products look good too, just add reviews or a quick size chart so people feel more confident.
And at checkout, most people bounce because they’re forced to make an account. Let them checkout as a guest, show some trust badges (secure checkout, free shipping), and remind them of that free shipping over $50.
A few small tweaks like that could help a lot before you put more money into ads. Let me know if you’d like me to go deeper into anything. 👍
