It looks like engagement and conversions are low across your channels. Have you analyzed your target audience, content strategy, and call-to-action effectiveness?

Social media ads typically don't convert well unless you have an established product, a really compelling offer, or a big social media following, or professional marketer with expertise in that particular channel to create targeted ads.

Couple things I would try:

- Set up Google Ads / Google Shopping, that will give you a good indication if the perceived value of the product / trust of the site is good. These ads convert more easily in general, because people are product shopping. If you don't get any conversions there, it could mean a problem with the site or product offer.

- Consider your website design. Most ecommerce sites have a white background. People tend to be more comfortable spending money with things they know. Trust of the site is a key factor. While the black looks cool with the theme of the site, it could be costing you trust points.

- Focus on 1 channel at a time, rather than random blanket ads across all your channels. For example, your Instagram account has 17 followers and a massive 50% discount offer. These are red flags to anyone that sees the account, those 2 factors are aligned with what a scam account would do - offer an undeniable discount, and marketing with a brand new account without any real customer interaction. I would focus on building up 1 social media channel, market through that channel, and after 3 months decide whether to keep on that channel or try another one. Ideally, you scale on 1 channel, automate that system, then move on to tackle the next channel. If you have the cash to invest in hiring a professional, that will grant you success faster, but if you prefer to spend time instead of money, you can learn quite a lot through youtube, courses, and blogs, and experimentation over time.

Hi @vortex_merch,

I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert.

I would be happy to review your ads and website and provide feedback on the performance.

Here are my recommendations to improve your conversion rate:

Your website isn’t effectively converting visitors into buyers despite your advertising efforts. Please check here are some suggestions from Databox that you might find useful for improving your landing page:

“You should create a clear CTA, such as a "Buy Now" or "Read More" button on the landing page. This CTA can be a clickable image with a small amount of text or a simple button.”

1. Monitor Your Cart Abandonment Rate

Additionally, a high cart abandonment rate can be particularly frustrating for your business, especially after investing significantly in attracting visitors to your site. This issue indicates that many potential customers are deciding not to complete their purchases, contributing to low conversion rates.

To address this, you can remind customers about the items left in their carts and encourage them to complete their purchases by:

  • Email Reminders: Send emails to customers who abandon their carts, reminding them of their items.
  • Incentives: Offer a discount or free shipping to motivate them to finalize their purchases.
  • For more detailed guidance, refer to an article from the Shopify Help Center

2. Improving the speed and performance on mobile and desktop

  • I checked your website performance on PageSpeed Insights - a Google tool that measures the website performance and found that scores on mobile, where a high number of the traffic is coming from, is just 5x  while the performance score on mobile should ideally be above 6x.
  • Also, on the desktop , the score is around 7x while the expected score should be above 8x.

  • Slow loading speeds affect various aspects related to user behavior and business outcomes, ultimately leading to lower conversion rates. Here is some suggestion:
  • For Shopify stores, the following are several factors that impact website performance
    • Store theme
    • The apps installed
    • Any additional third-party code you’ve manually added to your store, including tag managers and the tags within them
  • Here are some tips that you can use to improve your site performance:

3. Improve SEO

Besides running ads, taking the time to ensure your web pages are properly optimized can help increase your organic traffic, meaning more potential customers browsing your products. SEO strategies can drive site traffic to your Shopify website effectively.

For an average small e-commerce store, you should get at least 1000 visitors per month to start having a stable source for sales.

Here are some basic elements you should check:

Title Tags & Meta Descriptions:

  • Each page should have unique, descriptive title tags and meta descriptions.
  • Include relevant keywords without overstuffing.

You can also check this SEO checklist by Shopify to learn more about optimizing your e-commerce store and blog. This will boost your online presence and bring more traffic to your website.

I hope some of my suggestions are helpful, feel free to give me any feedback.

Good luck!

Hi @vortex_merch,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm from BON: Loyalty Rewards Referrals

As I see here, it seems like you need to comeback to the basics: get to understand your competitors, targeted customers, and then define your business's unique selling points (USP). Finding a USP can be tricky, but it's so important for standing out. Let’s dive into some ideas together to help MerchVortex shine in the LED Artistry market.
- Check Out the Competition: Take a look at what other LED Artistry businesses are doing. What are their strengths? What can you do better or differently?
- Know Your Audience: Think about what your customers really want. What do they love about your products? What problems are you solving for them?
- Spot Your Unique Features: What makes your LED products special? High quality? Unique designs? Custom options?

It's crucial to choose a thing that you know you are doing good at it, and higlight it everywhere (using a really attractive slogan), on all of your platforms to capture your customers' attention. For example:
- If your USP is Customizable Designs: "Create your own unique LED art – tailored just for you!" > People love having something that’s uniquely theirs. Let them pick colors, shapes, sizes, and more.
- If your USP is Premium Quality: "Long-lasting, high-quality LED art that lights up your space beautifully." > Emphasize the durability and craftsmanship of your products. Quality always wins.
- If your USP is Eco-Friendly: "Stylish LED art that’s also kind to the planet." > More people are eco-conscious now. Highlight your energy-efficient and sustainable materials.
- If your USP is Innovative Designs: "Unique, eye-catching LED art that transforms any room." > Stand out with designs that are unlike anything else out there.
- If your USP is Affordable Luxury: "High-end LED art that won’t break the bank." > Everyone loves getting a great deal on something that feels luxurious.
- If your USP is Multi-Functional: "Versatile LED art that’s both beautiful and practical." > Highlight how your art also serves as functional lighting.
You can also choose a statement that combines more than 1 USP, just keep in mind to make everything standout, while making sure the statement is short and easy to remember.

Furthermore, instead of targeting all platforms, at the same time, why don't you try to focus your effort on 1 channel, by optimize them one-by-one? For example, let's choose to focus on selling on Facebook (using Facebook Ads), try different tactics and test its result for about 1-2 months. Since I don't work in your field, I cannot give you a more specific answer, but I hope this answer can help you somehow.
