Is there something deterring potential customers from my site?

Did I do too much too soon? I have had so much fun using this as my creative outlet but have not had much success of actually selling. All of my designs have been careful created using graphic design - nothing is pre-made or just a template I have seen others using. I spend so much time and effort into everything I create and always keep getting more ideas of something I want to make or a different item to put a current design on.

I would love some feedback on my site and what I can do to improve as I know there's always room for improvement and I know there's something I'm missing.

I appreciate the time and effort!

Hi @VanessaVibes 👋 Word of mouth, marketing, organic traffic, differentiation, etc

It's not magic just because you build doesn't mean anyone knows it even exists or wants it.

The shop is in an infinite desert how does anyone know to even find it.

If they do get near there's hundreds of thousands of drop shipping stores that look just like it with similar products.

There are lots of things you could do but most are just busy work with no returns.

Even with traffic you need to differentiate

I forgot to mention I have already been marketing with ads on Facebook and TikTok with different ad creatives so it's not that I'm just expecting the site to be seen, I'm working on the whole traffic and marketing thing. The primary question was what is missing from my site that may be deterring customers. I've seen traffic with the ads but trying to gain feedback to improve what I'm doing. Are there too many items on my site, is it easy to navigate? Is it too difficult? I'm just trying to gain feedback to see what needs to be worked on.

Hey @VanessaVibes,

I think with such a vibey store, you ought to bring more aesthetics to it. Yes, you did the mistake of putting too much time in store design than actual business but it turned out great so don't be guilty about it. All creatives want things to be perfect. Here is what you should do instead:

- As a creative person, utilize your social media handles and put some real, raw, natural images of your products or customers wearing those products. Embed those instagram posts so visitors know people are actually using this stuff.. bring some vibe through your socials and embed them to your prodyct pages... add tiktoks/reels to your product page showcasing your product on another level (not just photoshopped product images). You can use this app called EmbedAny to make all the embeds of vids, socials for free.

As a creative designer, I would suggest you should definitely checkout this Canvify.app tool. This turns your Canva designs into Shopify pages so you will be directly designing in Canva and importing that to Shopify which gives more control over animations, graphics etc. I would say its worth a try.
