Opened a new store on Monday. Probably my 12th Shopify store....
This Monday morning (a week later) store was unexpectedly closed, without warning. No reasons, no response, no support. The store was still in DEV (we hadn't even arranged payments accepted yet) and this is after 60 hours of development time put into getting the catalog and the content setup.
Now, I almost thought it was a mistake. But I read through the guidelines. There isn't even a close reason for why it would have been closed. We sell Lawnmowers, Solar panels and parts...so its not the catalog.
Its a legitamate business with a retail location. We were asked to submit the business license, Tax ID, drivers license front and back as part of the appeal process. No problem... I understand there is fraudsters out there.
But at 24 hours later, I still have nothing back from Support team. There isn't anyone to call. The chat is mostly bot responses endlessly.
What is happening to quality Shopify team? Are you really doing this badly with suport??
That sounds incredibly frustrating, especially after investing so much time into setting up the store. While Shopify does have strict security measures, closing a dev store without warning seems extreme, especially if there was no apparent violation.

Reply to the Support Ticket (Politely but Firmly)
