Feedback for your online store from the community
Hi everyone,
Background: I decided to switch from Etsy and officially launched my site on Shopify 30 days ago. I've gained basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/Java via Youtube/Google. I have redone and optimized my homepage 3 times now and I think I will let this one ride out to see how customers respond. I would highly appreciate any suggestions on how I can improve UI/UX.
It typically takes me 6 hours to do my homepage, so I am shifting my focus to other things now. Here’s a list of what I’m currently working on for optimization/conversion:
Adding UGC images on my homepage to build trust
Finishing blog posts to post once a day for SEO (will eventually switch to once a week)
Creating a sales funnel and fixing my email automations/create A/B split testing (I have ~1,000 subscribers collected via lead magnets on my social media and need to improve on email marketing)
Optimizing Pinterest, TikTok, Google/Bing ads (all have been driving a ton of traffic, but not enough are converting)
I recently implemented a pop-up survey asking “What’s stopping you from using our product today?” so hopefully more feedback soon!
Designing a custom products page and about me page (would highly appreciate any ideas for products page)
Current stats:
150-250 sessions/day
2-3 orders/day
Biggest drop off was home page
Yes my reviews are real--they're imported from Etsy
If you’re a new small business owner, you understand what it’s like being a one-person show. I work full-time as a nurse and I am probably not sleeping as much as I should, but I am eager to learn and refuse to give up. Nursing is truly my passion—I know I still have a lot to work on, so I would be grateful for any tips/resources to help me help others 🙂
There goes my ADHD again. TYIA for reading this excessively long post.

Hi, @organizednurse again,
I have opened your website, compared it, and found that your URL written in the question is wrong, and I hope you can carefully check that it. Your website is very beautiful, and there are many tools arranged, which can meet the daily operation needs.
I checked your website speed with Google Speed and found it not fast, you need to further optimize it.
It’s mainly because the pictures on your website are too large, the opening speed is low. You can compress and optimize the pictures in a targeted manner.
There are too many plug-ins installed on your website, they will appear every once in a while, which had bad influence on customers’ experience. Remove some unnecessary plug-ins and keep those that can accomplish business goals.
I hadn’t loaded these pictures out at the bottom of the website. Please optimize it to give customers a better experience.
Besides, if you want to increase the conversion rate, you also need to do a good job in digital marketing.
These are some of my suggestions for your website. If you find this answer helpful, please give us a Like and Accept solution.
Best Regards,
QuickCEP
