Hi @genzacc ,

Here is Bruno from Suproof. Good job getting your store up and running. I have taken a look at your store and have some suggestions:

Main page

download - 2020-12-23T210756.166.jpeg

1- I suggest adding a text and a CTA to the main banner
2- Right after the main banner, you are presenting your product. I suggest adding a header text there too
3- You should increase your social media presence as well. How about creating an instagram account?

Product page:
1- I suggest adding more description about the product offered. Shipping details would be interesting to have as well.
2- I also notice you don't have any product review.  I suggest taking a look at Suproof. It would let you or your customers create photo/image/text based stories for your products. This will help customers make up their mind about buying your product. Best of all, it's free!

I hope this helps.

Hi @genzacc

This is PageFly. I would love to provide my recommendations for your store base on my CRO and Design experiences.

It seems that you haven't finished building your store yet, so I will give recommendations for you based on what you are having and more.

Add a favicon to your store.

This is one of the great things to make your store unique. You can check this tutorial here https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/os/using-themes/change-the-layout/theme-settings/add...

1. Home page

1.1 Make the sticky header

A sticky menu header helps customers to reach out to the menu and access the menu anytime they want. Especially, the menu has a search bar, and making a search bar prominent is very important. This helps customers feel rest assured and they can search anytime when they scroll up or down on the home page.

1.2 Invest in the high-quality banner image

I notice that you have 2 banner images on the slideshow, however, the quality is not good. The model with the accessory is not clear, it took a little time to observe the product.

Therefore, I highly recommend you invest in high-quality images to make them clear, focus on the products.

You can also add CTA buttons for 2 slides to link to the product page you are selling.

1.3 Add product details for the main product on the home page

I notice that you are selling 1 product on your store, therefore, I highly recommend you should add a product details for this product. It includes product title, price, add to cart and buy now button, product image, a short paragraph of the product description.

And when customers click on the product title or product image, they will be redirected to the product page.

1.4 Add social media

You can consider adding your store's social such as Instagram, etc with images. This is a good way to connect you better with your customers and keep them updating.

I recommend you should add social media account with images, for example, Facebook or Instagram feed.

1.5 Add customer's review

People love proof, especially when they visit a store and see many good reviews, they will be willing to shop! So you should add testimonials/product reviews to your store. They can be placed for each product or even a review collection on your home page. Check this guide to know more about its benefit and how to make it effective.

1.6 Adding direct links for the "Return Policies" And "Shipping Infor" on the footer

  • Many customers want to know the return policies as well as shipping info before making purchases. And this is crucial to their decision on whether to purchase products in your store. And they are likely to find it on the footer so it's necessary to add this information.
  • Shipping policy is essential because many customers want to know the shipping options available to them before they committed to adding a product to the cart page and go to the checkout page

Finally, I have a Jewellery template so you can consult to have many ideas.

What helps you to build your store more easily is a page builder. It would be a good choice for you to have attractive and powerful pages quickly and you will have lots more time focusing on marketing strategies, so you can consider checking PageFly

Above are my recommendations for your store and it's really important to customize attractive and unique pages to increase conversion rate.

If you feel my answer helpful, like it or give it a thumb up. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers!

Hi @genzacc ,

Congratulations on your new beginning. It takes a lot of courage to start a new thing, so celebrate that.

Designing a website is always difficult  for beginners. But worry not, I am here to help guide you through some of the basic essential steps.

1. You should change the product images

The first thing that customers see when entering your store is the product images.

The images determine either they would keep exploring and buy things from you or not.

That's why they are super important. And you need improvements here.

For example, this photo here is to dark and too blurry. It simply doesn't look like a fancy product:

Similarly for this photo here, it's very dark and look amateurish:

Consider getting a professional photographer to help you, or you can also contact your suppliers and ask them for their product photos.

2. Adding information about you

Customers would need to see your information for their assurance.

They want to know who you are and how they can contact you if anything goes wrong.

Currently, you show no contact information and no introduction on your website.

Consider adding your contact information (business email and phone number) in the footer, and also add an About Us section to introduce yourself.

3. Adding product reviews

One important factor that decides your success is whether customers trust you.

And to do that, you need positive reviews. You don't have that on your website currently.

Have you made any sales before? If yes then contact the past customers and ask them to give you a review.

If not, then try giving the products to your friends and ask them for their feedback.

Then put those feedback onto the store, like this:

4. Use a on product store theme instead

Your store looks very empty right now because you use a multi-product theme but only have one product.

Consider switching to a one product theme instead. It's the trend of 2020 and beyond!

Read here to see more on how to set up your own one product store using our free theme

That's it! Hope it gives you some new ideas. Good luck and let me know if you need more suggestions!

Hi, @genzacc

Welcome to the Shopify Community and to Shopify!

Thank you everyone for your feedback and suggestions. I wanted to add some light on some of the feedback already mentioned here.

As many have mentioned, I think your store would benefit from adding a product description that entices your audience. I suggest checking out our blog on creating product pages, that has examples you can gain inspiration from and learn why they work, here: Product Pages: 16 Best-in-Class Examples and Why They Work

I agree with @AiTrillion that product videos would benefit your product. If you need a place to get started with making one, check out our free online video maker. You can upload images, add text to them and use them on social media.

Product videos can help you increase the conversions on your store. Check out our blog post with details on why videos are important, some examples of stores that use product videos, and how you can implement product videos into your store: How to Use Video to Increase Conversions and Sales in Your Ecommerce Business. If you want to take your videos to the next level, I suggest looking into some video editing software. Here’s a list of suggestions from our blog: Fix It in Post: The 14 Best Free Video Editing Software Programs in 2020

I would also recommend adding an About Us page to communicate your story with your customers, describe how your business serves customers, explain your business model or how your products are made, put a face to your business and include any additional content like links to blog posts, that could otherwise clutter your homepage. Here’s a blog post that shows you how to set-up your About Us Page: The Untapped Potential of About Us Pages (And How to Write Your Own). There is a template you can use, examples of About Us pages, and details on how your story will get better over time.

Let me know what you think!
