Looking for Feedback on My Shopify Store – Low Sales

Hi everyone,

I recently launched my Shopify store, AuraPro Sauna, selling portable steam saunas for home use. I designed the entire website myself just by watching YouTube videos, as I had no prior experience in website design.

So far, sales have been very low, and I’d love some feedback from the community. I’m looking for suggestions on design, user experience, speed, product pages, SEO, and conversion optimization. Any marketing tips would also be extremely helpful!

From a customer’s perspective, you’re doing an excellent job! Your website speed is great—I never have to wait for it to load. Your product images look authentic, and the overall design reflects your brand well. This cultivates a sense of trust, professionalism, and high product quality.

To make it even better, here are a few suggestions:

  1. Check the grammar
    This is important. There’s a missing space in the message on your hero banner—be sure to correct it.

  2. Consider selling supplemental products
    If your sauna has complementary products, I highly recommend offering them. As a customer, I prefer buying supplemental products from the same store where I purchase the primary product. You can test this by implementing a heat map tool on your site to check for dead zones or rage clicks in these areas. If multiple customers are clicking but not converting, it might indicate demand for those products.

    If you decide to sell them, make the blocks clickable or, even better, add a navigation button at the bottom of each block to improve user experience.

  3. Enhance the visibility of the value proposition section
    Currently, it’s not very prominent and can be easily overlooked. Consider using larger icons or increasing the text size to draw more attention to it.

  4. Improve the UI of your "Learn" page
    The current UI is somewhat difficult to read on desktop. I haven’t checked it on mobile yet, but I recommend doing so. For better readability and SEO, consider presenting the content in a standard blog format. This will enhance both user experience and search visibility.

  • CTA Button: A stronger CTA is needed. The "Buy Now" button should be more prominent, ideally appearing clearly on the homepage. Secondary CTAs like "Watch Demo Video" or "Discover the Benefits" can guide hesitant buyers.
  • Fix Hero Section: Currently, if customers scroll down, the hero section disappears, making navigation difficult. Keeping it visible or ensuring easy access to the main sections can improve the user experience.

2. Product Page

  • Product Images & Videos: Expand the image gallery to include step-by-step setup visuals, close-up shots of fabric and steam, and lifestyle images of people using the sauna.
  • It would be great if, when clicking on items in the "What do you get" section, the text appears directly at the bottom of the same page instead of redirecting to a new tab. This way, customers can easily view both the images and product details while keeping track of what they are purchasing, without having to navigate back to explore other products.

3. Adjust the blog layout and increase the number of posts

  • Increase blog posts with SEO optimization and refine the layout and thumbnails to attract organic traffic. Ensure your blog feels like a valuable resource, positioning yourself as an expert customers can rely on for advice and answers.
