Hello! I just revamped my site and I’m looking for some feedback and suggestions other than a sticky header 🙂 Thank you in advance!

Thanks for your message, I would be happy to provide you with some feedback for your shop. Thank you for sharing your store URL, I really enjoyed checking out your shop and it looks like you have some fantastic products available for purchase. The first thing I noticed was that your logo looks a bit low-resolution, or blurry:

I recommend checking out our helpful Uploading Images guide to ensure you are uploading your images and logo as per our requirements for optimal resolution and quality. 

I like this "new arrivals" area, however, you may want to add it as a menu item as well so your customers have quick access to it within your header menu:

Moving on, I love how you have included all your store policies at the footer of your shop, but I am confused at this "Sitemap" option:

Is there a specific reason you included this in your shop? 

I also noticed that you do not have any social media links on your shop, do you have an Instagram and Facebook or vice-versa account for your shop? If so, I would recommend adding these icons to your shop so your customers can be re-directed to your social channels. Depending on what theme you are using, you should be able to add these icons/links by heading to Online Store>Themes>Customize>Social Media to do so. 

Overall, you have a great-looking shop here and these are just minimal things I noticed that you may want to take a look into adjusting. I would love to hear about what sort of marketing and promotion techniques you are looking into to start bringing in traffic to the shop. Hello Marty! I appreciate your reply, your advice is very useful. Thank you for the link to the guide on uploading images, I’ll fix my logo asap. I have also already added the new arrivals to the header menu, it makes a lot of sense. As for the sitemap link, I quickly read something that said any site should include a sitemap but I now realize it’s not necessary. My social media links got deleted when I added a new theme and I didn't notice, good thing you caught that! You’re a big help, thank you so much.

I have just taken a quick look at your website and I picked up some plus points are:

  • Have a favicon for your store - which makes your store look unique and professional.
  • Have testimonials section: It is of great importance because your brand trust can be enhanced.

However, I would like to give you some suggestions about your store so that you could consider changing and hope that the conversion rate is increased accordingly.

1. Have a sticky menu 

A sticky navigation bar will help customers navigate themselves from every part of the homepage to any page of your store more conveniently. Just a friendly reminder to you!


2. Featured image

It is of great importance that the featured image should describe what you are selling within the 5 first minutes of accessing your store. 


As you can see in the screenshot above, the featured image does not show exactly what you are selling because there is none of your product images. Thus, you might need to change into a new one, dear!

Also, though this banner is of high quality, I believe that it would even be better if you make this featured image full width. Please kindly check it again as this banner seems to be cut off.

3. CTA button

As you might know, a primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store. With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, or a product page, probably enhancing the conversion rates. 


Perfect!! You placed the right CTA in the right place ~ Please rest assured that all CTA buttons will have the same styling to boost the conversion rate. 

4. Give clear price

When I stopped at this part, the sale campaign was so attractive. However, why don’t you give your customers a clear price after applying a discount? This could make your customers confused and they might drop here instead of clicking to jump into the product page, not to mention “add to cart” action


Furthermore, you should make the new price more dominant than the original price by using another color for it. In this case, I highly recommend red color.

5. Make the content center

Just a minor thing but I hope it is helpful. That is - If there are just 2 collections, they should be centered to avoid too much white space on the left. This could make your store outlook more professional


6. Align text on the same row

Here is another minor issue that the names are not displayed on the same row. And, it would be much more eye-catching if you place the star rating with the testimonial. You can check this guide to pick the best reviews app for your store!


Last but not least, here are my other recommendations for you, feel free to consider them applied to your store:

  • Add a section about your brand story: A business can stand out with its brand story. A brand story helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more attractive.
  • Add a section to display more about your products

=> What helps you to build your store more easily, especially what helps you to build all options I comment on above is a page builder.

It would be a good choice for you to have professional sites that look incredible on mobile & desktop without any extra coding, and you will have lots more time focusing on marketing strategies, so you can consider checking PageFly.

Add a Favicon, which helps to find your store when customer had multiple tabs in their browser.

Make a Sticky header for easy navigation. It helps customer to access menu at any time they want.

Improve Blog page, Blog posting will allow you to show your followers a personal side of your business. In this way you can engage with Existing and New customers.

Promote your products on social platforms and provide those social links on the footer section.

Make social links open on new tab.

Update contact us page with more details, which builds trust on your store.

You can promote your products with word of mouth strategy. Boost your sales with the app from the shopify app store   which helps to increase your sales.

There is no terms and conditions checkbox at checkout. I suggest you to install an app from shopify app store which provides 'I agree to the Terms and Conditions' before checkout .As it makes easy for the customer to read your terms and policies.
