Feedback for your online store from the community
Hello! So I've been in business now starting my 3rd year on shopify. The store has done decent but I still can't seem to get consistent conversions! Myself I think the store is decent but I'd love to have some feedback from anyone in here as far as look or anything that might deter someone from buying! Im getting anywhere from 100 - 150 visitors a day from ads and social media but the conversions just arent where I feel like they should be. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Hey @Tmanning. Hope you are doing well. Here are a few things to focus on -
1- Make external links open in a new tab. This will help reduce dropouts.
2- Customers should be able to click on the CTA button on the hero banner to navigate to the product/collections page. Add shop now CTA on the hero banner.
3- Social proof is missing. We rely on other people’s opinions or actions to decide on our own and hence it is essential for you like a lot of other successful stores online. Reviews, testimonials, endorsements, etc are a must-have.
------>Add review carousel/testimonial/endorsement on the homepage.
------>Add a review section on the product page
4- Add realistic product images from different angles - this leads to trust and loyalty from the users' end since they trust what you show them.
5- Add trust badges and trust seals: One of the best things you can do to make your e-commerce site more trustworthy is to add trust badges, this will make them feel more comfortable making a purchase. Apps like ModeMagic can help you do the same with ease.
6- Use a premium theme to make your store look more professional. This will help create a great first impression.
Hope this helps,
Thanks

Hope you are doing good.
I've taken a look at your store. Nice collection! I've some suggestions to increase the conversion rate.
1. Add sections like 'New Arrivals', 'Featured Collection', 'Hot Sellers' to help customers keep updated on new products and give exposure to new collections.
2. Add product reviews for many more products, as most of the customers read the review before purchasing the product. Even sometimes by reading reviews, customers may look to understand whether your product will suit their particular situation and make the decision to purchase the product.
3. Add a section for email Newsletter in the footer to give updates pertaining to your business, products, and services.
4. Add more specific product name title/url in product pages.
Creating the perfect SEO product title/url can help the search engine understand exactly what it is you are selling and drive more traffic to your site. So try to keep the product title/url unique and more specific.
5. Add filters in collection pages to help your visitors narrow in on the specific product they're looking for and find products they might be interested in based on certain features (e.g. size, color, category)
6. Add sorting feature in collection pages for changing the order of any product listing whereby users can choose which criteria they want the products to be listed by.
7. Add sticky header
Adding sticky header allow users to quickly access the navigation, search, and utility-navigation elements without scrolling up to the top of the page. They increase the discoverability of the elements in the header and the chance that users will take advantage of them.
8. Add Blogging in the store
Blogging is an amazing way to drive traffic to your website and increase your SEO. The more your blog, the more content the search engines have to crawl and index. This means they can easily recognize that your site is a resource of information for people to access.

Thanks for the help! I feel like I have worked endlessly on this for a few years now but i'm never satisfied with the website!! I appreciate your advice. I think I am going to go with the Avatar Theme from shopify. Any themes you might suggest? I also used a couple from theme forest before, but 2 of them crashed.
Thank You for the feedback. Most of my traffic is coming from google ads/ facebook ads. Maybe the wrong audience like you said. I would love to figure it out tho!
