Feedback for your online store from the community
My store is atmerch.shop. I'm completely new to drop shipping and can use some helpful pointers and guidance on getting it off the ground and self sustainable. If you'd browse it and let me know any obvious mistakes my partner and I are making I'd appreciate it greatly.
Hi @ATsol
This is Richard from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App. After looking into your store, I have some comments below:
Here are some good points I can see from your site:
I have a few more comments to make your pages even better:
1. Create a hero banner
The section of a webpage located between the navigation and the main content is known as the hero banner area. Although typically displayed as an image, the hero banner area can take on various forms.
Its purpose is to introduce the page and provide users with an initial impression of the content to come. The contents of the hero banner area should guide users towards the remaining content on the page.
This one is a perfect example:
2. Showcase your product list
To attract potential customers to explore further and increase the chances of conversion, it is essential to prominently showcase featured products on the homepage of the website. The homepage plays a crucial role in capturing the client's attention and enticing them to browse more products. This brings us to the question of the advantages of displaying featured products on your homepage.
The homepage can showcase all the products available for sale, categorized into sections such as featured, recommended, and bestsellers. By presenting visually appealing images alongside the prices, the homepage can entice customers to continue scrolling and potentially purchase more than what they originally intended.
3. Showcase your Instagram or other social profiles
As usual, social media is one of the effective ways to get more traffic and make a good connection with your customers. Display social media such as Instagram and constantly update the feed.
4. Show your policies
Information on shipping and payment should be made clear from the first place. You should include this information below the hero banner. When the customers actively know your policies, they will be more likely to make purchases.
Take this one for example:
Furthermore, you can consider using a page builder app with a Shopify theme made for this niche to enhance your store appearance and increase mobile experience for customers. You can check out the following themes Blum, Sense, Dawn…

Richard | PageFly

Hello @ATsol ,
We dived into your store and saw your amazing works. There is just a few more thing we noticed that you can make a change to create a better customer experience and boost your sales.
A. HOMEPAGE:
1. Logo:
- It'd be better if you can dive more in your logo, it looks fine but we don't think it can represent your brand image. Maybe your can remove the square box outside and add a little bit effect on the logo to make it eye-catching.
2. Header:
- The search icon is being listed on the left, which may not be comfortable for customers, you can list it on the right side of header, next to the cart icon.
- It's great to see you sticked your header, but the logo was cut half which make your site looks not so good. You can make the logo stay on the left side and re-design the site to make it not being cut half.
3. Add more content on your home page:
- Highlight some potential products on your homepage to increase the chance of likelihood to purchase
- Add testimonials: Reviews play a crucial part when it comes to shopping online, people tend to make a purchase for products that have many reviews, even it has bad or good reviews. You can use the third-party app to import, manage and design the widget like this screenshot below.
4. Optimize your content:
- This section has too much texts, it make your store looks not pretty and people will just ignore it.
B. PRODUCT PAGE:
1. Testimonials:
- You can add a star rate include reviews for each products like this screenshot to give your customers a comparison and increase the chance of likelihood to purchase.
2. Details information:
- You can dive more in your products detail information: this can be listed by material, size, colors, advantages, useful, etc...
C. PAGESPEED INSIGHTS:
- Pagespeed also an essential part when it comes to shopping online. If your site take too many times to loading, it may annoy customers and people will tend to quit and leave.
- Your site speed performance not really good. You can try to:
+ Optimize your image files: use compressing tools to optimize the files size without affecting the quality.
+ Optimize your theme codes: optimize and reduce the Javascript or CSS code to improve the speed.
+ Remove any unnecessary codes or apps: Too many codes or apps may make your site run low, make sure you remove any unnecessary apps or codes to improve the speed.
Hope these can help. Please let us know if you have any further questions, we'd love to help.
Regards,
AliReviews team.

and let me know.
Hello @ATsol,
I am Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $5Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot. I am here to help you.
1. Add a banner or slideshow below the header section which helps the right visitors dive deeper into your website while also weeding out the people who won't find value in what you offer.
2. Add favicon to help visitors locate your page easier when they have multiple tabs open. Also it will add overall branding consistency and their absence might be seen as unprofessional.
3. Add sections like 'New Arrivals', 'Featured Collection', 'Hot Sellers' to help keep customers updated on new products and give exposure to new collections.
4. Display store's contact info like phone number, email address, and office address in the Contact Us page.
5. You can add testimonials on the home page to make the store look more professional. Testimonials allow your satisfied customers to step forward and address the questions and objections that fill the minds of your prospective buyers for you.
6. Create social media accounts for your store in other major channels like Instagram and TikTok and add the links in the footer of your Shopify store can increase the visibility of your social media profiles, making it easier for customers to find and follow you on different platforms.
7. Optimize your footer with a more professional and functional look. Add pages like Contact Us, About Us, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, etc to the footer.
8. A FAQ would be useful to provide quick information to help customers make a purchasing decision and also to reduce the time your employees need to answer simple questions.
9. Add detailed filters in collection pages to help your visitors narrow in on the specific product they're looking for and find products they might be interested in based on certain features (e.g. size, color, category)
10. Showing your average rating gives your shoppers quick information to make purchase decisions. Average ratings provide you with feedback on popular and unpopular products that you can use to make changes.
11. Add sticky header
Adding sticky header allow users to quickly access the navigation, search, and utility-navigation elements without scrolling up to the top of the page. They increase the discoverability of the elements in the header and the chance that users will take advantage of them.
12. Add Blogging in the store
Blogging is an amazing way to drive traffic to your website and increase your SEO. The more your blog, the more content the search engines have to crawl and index. This means they can easily recognize that your site is a resource of information for people to access.
13. Add data policies (Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Refund Policy) to your store which helps set expectations with your website visitors. They'll know the types of data you're collecting, why you're collecting, protects the seller from bad customers and ensures that buyers know exactly what to expect when they order a product.
Hope this helps
Gina
Hey @ATsol.
Thanks for reaching out.
I appreciate that you have provided your online store URL for us to explore!
You could add a slideshow section to your homepage to include your favorite product or best seller. It would be a great way to allow your visitors to learn more about the business and products without having to scroll. This can also help strengthen your brand and make your homepage more engaging and personalized.
While I was taking a look at your store I noticed that you do not currently have a favicon set for your website. A favicon is a small square image that represents a website in web browser tabs. If you take a look at the top tab bar of your browser right now, I’m sure you’ll see several favicons! Typically, favicons feature a logo, the first letter of the company name or simply an image that reflects the specifics of the website it represents. Adding a favicon to your online store can help add a polished look to your website. You can click on this link to read instructions on how to create and add your own favicon your store.
Keep in mind that these images are displayed quite small, so it's good to keep in mind that the image you use should be readable at small sizes.
