Hi @kokoamoon

First, good job on the store, it is not easy to set everything up and have some sales, even with low conversation.

To me, your base theme is holding up the sales.  It is a basic theme and it is OK to start. But you have great product images that just scream for

a better theme. The good thing in Shopify you can try every theme on your store and with some configuration you can see how your products look like.

For example, check  https://themes.shopify.com/themes/impact/styles/shape/preview?industry%5B%5D=clothing&surface_detail... and see the difference. Fonts, colors, and special sections that just match the industry. This is just one theme but you can check other https://themes.shopify.com/themes?price%5B%5D=paid&industry%5B%5D=clothing&sort_by=popularity

Also, I noticed you have very little text. Images are great but you need some sections that explain your brand, reassure customers, have some reviews, or better videos from customers. On product pages the same,  size guide, and some icons with text for material, care, and other things.  I mean you shop clothes online or at least search online for inspiration, you must see some good features that you could add to your store but also features that repeat from store to store, they must work for them.

I wish you luck and good sales.

Kind regards
Laza

Hi @kokoamoon,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. We are MooseDesk, a comprehensive Live Chat, FAQ & Helpdesk App designed to elevate your customer support experience.

Congrats on your new store! Your store looks stunning. I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this. However, I have some comments to make the good get even better. Here are some of my recommendations for better customer experience, please kindly check.

1. Navigation Menu Organization:

The current layout, with links only on one side and not aligned, can make the site feel less professional and a bit disorienting for visitors. Consider reorganizing the menu to ensure a more cohesive and intuitive navigation experience.

You can follow this example:

MooseDesk_0-1722088178969.png

2. Hero Section:

Adding a hero banner that clearly showcases your products can immediately communicate to customers what you offer. Use high-quality images that highlight your products' details, and pair them with an engaging caption to encourage visitors to explore further. This is crucial as the hero section is often the first thing customers see.

Here is an example for you:

3. Sales Promotion Banner:

To make your promotions more appealing, consider adding a time-sensitive element to create urgency. The current banner image might not be as engaging or relevant; a refreshed design focusing on your product could better capture attention. A clear and compelling CTA, like "Shop Now," can also drive action.

4. About Us Section:

Including an About Us section on your homepage can help build an emotional connection with visitors. Sharing your story and values can foster trust and make customers feel more comfortable purchasing from you.

5. Reviews/Testimonials Section:

Showcasing positive customer experiences can significantly influence potential buyers. Adding a section for reviews or testimonials can help build credibility and trust in your products.

6. Footer Enhancements:

Revamping the footer to include a sitemap can improve navigation. Additionally, providing your store's contact information will reassure customers that they are dealing with a legitimate business.

You can follow this example:

7. Product Page Improvements:

Consider using a slider for product images so customers can easily view all products without excessive scrolling. Detailed product descriptions, including information on materials and a comprehensive size chart, can also help customers make informed decisions.

You can divide your product descriptions into sections like this layout to avoid extensive scrolling:

MooseDesk_8-1722088700873.png

8. Add an FAQ page, a Contact Us page, and a widget:

Adding a FAQ page can address common customer concerns, while a Contact Us page provides alternative contact methods. Additionally, a widget for direct inquiries or live chat can offer immediate support and enhance the customer experience.

I suggest exploring MooseDesk, a FREE LiveChat, FAQ & Helpdesk App that can help your support experience easier, better, faster!

Hello Kokoamoon,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm Tracy from BON: Loyalty Rewards Referrals.

Thank you for your question. First, congratulations on taking the first steps in setting up a well-designed store with great products. Achieving steady sales and profits is not easy, especially in the competitive fashion and apparel industry.

There are many reasons why your website might have a low conversion rate. Unclear content, unimpressive design, lack of user-friendliness, weak brand presence, and attracting the wrong audience are some common issues. For example, broad keywords like "pizza" attract a wide range of searches, whereas more specific keywords like "pizza delivery in my city" target potential customers better.

Here are some suggestions to improve your conversion rate:

1/ Increase Brand Awareness:

- Publish PR Articles: Get featured on reputable news sites to build credibility.
- Showcase Reviews: Highlight customer reviews and expert endorsements.
- Use Influencers: Collaborate with influencers to promote your products.
- Clear Contact Information: Ensure your contact details are easily accessible.
- Brand Commitment: Provide a clear commitment or guarantee to build trust.

2/ Optimize Call to Action (CTA):

- Prominent Placement: Place CTAs in easily visible locations.
- Short and Clear Text: Use concise text (2-3 words) that clearly indicates the action.
- Limit CTAs: Avoid having too many CTAs on one page to prevent confusion.

3/ Implement Upselling, Freebies, and Discounts:
- Offer Promotions: Use strategies like buy one get one free or combo discounts.
- Strategic Use: Apply these offers wisely to avoid devaluing your brand.

4/ Re-engage Abandoned Customers:
- Create a Customer List: Identify customers who have left without purchasing.
- Understand Reasons: Investigate why these customers left.
- Offer Deals: Present special offers and promotions to win them back.
- Excellent Customer Care: Provide exceptional customer service to retain them.

Additional Tips:
- Actionable Steps: Consider using tools like Google Analytics to track customer behavior and optimize your site accordingly.
- A/B Testing: Experiment with different CTAs, layouts, and promotions to see what works best.
- Customer Feedback: Regularly gather and act on customer feedback to continuously improve your store.

By applying these strategies and tips, you can enhance your website's effectiveness and increase your conversion rate.

Please hit "LIKE" to let me know if you found this helpful. If this answers your query, kindly mark it as "SOLUTION."

Cheers,
Tracy

Hi @kokoamoon,

I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert.

I would be happy to review your website and provide feedback on the performance. Here are some recommendations

1. Improving the speed and performance on mobile

  • I checked your website performance on PageSpeed Insights - a Google tool that measures the website performance and found that scores on mobile, where a high number of the traffic is coming from, is around 5x while the performance score on mobile should ideally be above 6x.

mageplazacs_0-1722504550236.png

  • Slow loading speeds affect various aspects related to user behavior and business outcomes, ultimately leading to lower conversion rates. Here is some suggestion:
  • For Shopify stores, the following are several factors that impact website performance
    • Store theme
    • The apps installed
    • Any additional third-party code you’ve manually added to your store, including tag managers and the tags within them
  • Here are some tips that you can use to improve your site performance:

2. Monitor Your Cart Abandonment Rate

Additionally, a high cart abandonment rate can be particularly frustrating for your business, especially after investing significantly in attracting visitors to your site. This issue indicates that many potential customers are deciding not to complete their purchases, contributing to low conversion rates.

To address this, you can remind customers about the items left in their carts and encourage them to complete their purchases by:

  • Email Reminders: Send emails to customers who abandon their carts, reminding them of their items.
  • Incentives: Offer a discount or free shipping to motivate them to finalize their purchases.
  • For more detailed guidance, refer to an article from the Shopify Help Center

3. Focusing on SEO

Taking the time to ensure your web pages are properly optimized can help increase your organic traffic, meaning more potential customers browsing your products. SEO strategies can drive site traffic to your Shopify website effectively.

For an average small e-commerce store, you should get at least 1000 visitors per month to start having a stable source for sales.

Here are some basic elements you should check:

Title Tags & Meta Descriptions:

  • Each page should have unique, descriptive title tags and meta descriptions.
  • Include relevant keywords without overstuffing.

You can also check this SEO checklist by Shopify to learn more about optimizing your e-commerce store and blog. This will boost your online presence and bring more traffic to your website.

4. Search bar

mageplazacs_1-1722504550005.png

  • You should enhance the search by making larger product images, including pricing and discount information, adding search by brand, search by collection to improve search bar
  • Below is a reference

I hope some of my suggestions are helpful, feel free to give me any feedback.

Good luck!
