My shopify products not showing in Google search

My products nor the shopify store itself show up when typing them into the google search bar.
I have waited 4 weeks now changing something up every week that I think might make the difference.
As far as I can tell I set up everything correctly in shopify and google merchant center.
All my products are shown as active in both applications.
All the products are approved.
Everything regarding my shopify/gmc account seems to be fine.
I've watched a few videos and read a few forum posts and tried most of the solutions but nothing seemed to work.
Is there anything that I could have missed or forgotten to do that prevents my products from showing up in google search?

Are you talking about free listings, or paid ads?

May I know have you connected store to Google Search Console apart from setting up in Google Merchant Center? If not, I suggest you connect to Google Search Console in time, and there you can submit store sitemap to Google and start page indexing, so that you can see product pages in Google Search Results.
