Hi @fashionfables

Your store is nice and clean. Have you run ads or email marketing? How much traffic does your store have?

I recommend you add more information to the Contact page of your store.

You also can try to import reviews from your Etsy products to your products because reviews may help you get the first sale.

Best regards,

Dan from Ryviu

Hello,

I hope you are doing good and welcome to the Shopify Community!

I am San from MS Web Designer

Thank you for sharing your store URL. This allowed me to go through your site.

You have a beautiful website. I believe a few adjustments may be required to make it more professional and appealing to customers.

Here are some recommendations:

Header:
1. Social media Icon missing

2.Logo can be more attractive

Homepage: (First Impression is the last impression)

The homepage is the first landing page your customers will see after opening the website. Yours is done beautifully. Video section can be made smaller as it is very wide.
1. Add featured products on the home page with add to cart option to increase average order value.

2.Add a featured collection on your home page.

3. Title font can be reduced as they are very bold.
4.If Possible, add Instagram feed on the home page.

5.Add customer reviews on the home page to gain the trust of the customer.

CRO Strategies:

- Add Sticky add to Cart and Buy now Button for quick checkout

-Add time reservation on the checkout page to decrease average order time
-Introduce discount coupon code and tickets.

SPEED Optimization:

1.Your site might be in need of Optimization too. As per Google Insights, your site score is 58 which means that attention is required here. A well-optimised site rates 70+ for mobile version, this affects your SEO ranking and decides how many customers/visitors view or find your website as 80% visitors use mobile to place the order.

I hope this helped!

Please feel free to contact us for any further help that you might require.

Best regards,

San.

thank you so much for taking the time to review the site and answer. noted. my friend had helped me make the site , so I am quite new to Shopify. are these changes I can make myself—how hard is it for a newbie essentially with making product images bigger etc. Shopify is now a priority so I am going to be sitting down and teaching myself how to do a lot of the things mentioned

Hi @fashionfables ,

I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert.

I'd be happy to review your website and provide feedback on both user experience and SEO. Here are my recommendations:

One of my first suggestions is to pay attention to your SEO to get organic traffic to your website. The reason why you don’t get any sales yet might come from the lack of traffic. As this is not mentioned in your question, I am just assuming. The following is some basic things you should check:

Title Tags & Meta Descriptions:

  • Each page should have unique, descriptive title tags and meta descriptions.
  • Include relevant keywords without overstuffing.

Content:

  • You have regularly updated the blog with valuable content on topics.
  • Use headings (H1, H2, H3) appropriately to structure content and include keywords.

Besides, I also suggest at looking into content and UX/UI of your website

1. Homepage

1.1.Banner

The banner is too general and doesn't catch attention. You should add seasonal banners for current promotions or collections (e.g., Summer Sale, Winter Collection).

Here is the reference:

1.2. Video

The homepage video should be autoplayed. It fits well on mobile but requires excessive scrolling on desktop.

1.3. New Arrival and On sale sections

  • You can add an "Add to Cart" or “Add to wish list”  button to allow customers to add products directly from the homepage. Make the "Add to Cart", “ Add to wish list” buttons and price information more noticeable.
  • Also, increase the size and unique styling of discount labels. Remove sold-out products from these sections.

1.4. Refund policy.

I checked and found it hard to find return/refund/shipment policies on your site and this may cause hesitation to purchase.

You should add detailed refund, shipment, and return policies to enhance customer trust and address purchasing hesitation.

1.5. FAQs

You can add an FAQs section to address common customer concerns.

Also, expand the chat box to include more general questions for better information.

1.6 Social account

Does your store have FB, IG accounts? If yes, adding these to the footer will attract customers to follow your shop. You can add the link of your store on Etsy as well.

2. Search features

You should enhance the search by making larger product images. Include blog search functionality for better content discovery.

Here is the reference, less product but larger images will catch the attention and enhance customer experience:

3.Product detail page

3.1. Lack of size chart and suitable sizes

This might be an issue for the conversion. The measurements should be in more detail to give buyers a better idea of how it will fit their body (Is the measurement product's or body's?)

mageplazacs_6-1718792996750.png

3.2. Lack of review section

Review will provide customers more information about the product. It will enhance trust and provide more information regarding the product, especially clothes and accessories.

4.  Category page

Add more filter options like color, material, on sale, new arrivals, etc., to enhance  customer experience, save time customer searching for products and therefore improve conversion rates

 5. Cart page and check out page

Display recommendations or promotional sections on both pages to effectively promote products and attract customers to buy more.

I hope my recommendation will help you. Feel free to reply for a more detailed analysis on any specific area, or if there are any challenges you have.

Good luck!

Greetings,

I checked your traffic structure here are Top Countries:

Turkey 16.37%
USA 13.84%
Chile 12.12%
Ukraine 8.98%
Sweden 8.79%
Having that in mind missing shipping costs and policy could be an issue for your customers.
Do you have in mind target market? If yes then my advise to review your ads strategy.

Another thing is social media presence. I have googled a little and found thefashionfables account and podcast @ spotify if it yours i would encourage you to use this promo channel and try selling via instagram. If not probably selling via amazon or google could be nice option as a next move as these marketplaces are more product than brand focused.

As for your website catalog i would consider to hide out of stock items as it could be pretty frustrating to find something available. Or you can try pre-order option for such products but i would recommend to try this as an experiment at several products.

Hope it helps.
