Feedback for your online store from the community
Hi, I want to increase my 1% conversion rate. I think I have a good store but I would like others to check it out. My store is https://wingededge.org
Thanks.
Hi there, @AlekD.
Your store looks great - well done on this! In my opinion the key to driving the right kind of traffic, and thus increasing your conversion rate is having a good marketing plan. I have a guide here that will help you create a marketing plan that works.
A piece of advice I'd also give you is to figure out EXACTLY who it is that you think your ideal target customer is; who are they? what age are they? Why would these products appeal to them & how are they currently going looking for these products? This podcast, 'Using Customer Profiles as a Filter for Making Better Business Decisions — Podcasts' gives you a brilliant example of how to approach this. Thanks!

Hi Alek,
Your store is looking great! These are the things I would look at:
1. Where are you sending your traffic? If you send it to the product page instead of the home page it increases your chances of conversion.
2. Make your add-to-cart button on the product page a different color. That way it stands out from the rest of the information.
3. Check your customer journey and stats. Where is the highest exit rate? What pages have the highest number of visits, etc.. That will help you understand where your issue might be.
I hope this helps!
Hello,
Indeed your site has a good look & feel and easy to navigate! One thing that I could add to what has been already said: detailed product level analytics, to track which products are generating views (and no add to carts), which products have low (or high) conversion or abandonment rates. This visibility helps you as store owner to be able to take actions in improving the product offer, the pricing or other factors that in the end would result in an improved overall conversion rate. The devil is in the details, its important to understand your users and how they interact with your products.
I can recommend, that if you are looking to improve conversion rates keep these in mind. Take a look at our demo (no signup needed) to have a better understanding about the kind of measurements that can be used to track, understand and ultimately improve your product offering and of course your store performance: https://demo.datma.io/shopify/reporting/metrics/1416 - this a direct link to a report with all products that includes conversions, add to carts, abandonment rates, but feel free to look around what else is there.
Best,
Peter @ Datma
