Feedback for your online store from the community
We went on Shopify in October of 2023. We have had a website since 2009 (the year we established our business) on other platforms.
We are looking for suggestions and feedback on appeal of the website. Thoughts on improving traffic and conversion stats. And any other feedback you would like to offer. Thanks in advance for taking the time to take a peak.
The text "Meet Our Pro-Staff & Ambassadors" Should be in center. Or if you prefer in left then is should be have padding from Left.
Done. Thanks.
Seems like a small thing, but I would use higher resolution images. Some of the images on your website look blurry which makes it feel less professional = lower trust from site visitors.
Hi @wrw1509 ,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. We are MooseDesk, a comprehensive Live Chat, FAQ & Helpdesk App designed to elevate your customer support experience.
First, your store looks stunning and it has quite enough essential information. However, if you want to make it even better, please check my recommendations below.
1. Navigation menu
In this section, consider moving the "What’s New" and "Best Seller" sections to the top. These are highly engaging and attractive to customers, but currently, users have to scroll down to see them. This could impact the traffic and visibility of these key sections.
2. Add “Why shop with us” section
Instead of a lengthy introduction in the "About Us" section that customers may not fully read, highlight the key advantages your store offers. Clearly list what sets you apart to build trust, reinforce your brand’s value, and ensure customers remember you for future purchases.
3. Product page
The product descriptions are functional. For example, instead of just describing the material, explain how it feels, why it’s perfect for your customer’s needs, or how it adds value to their life.
Product pages provide essential information, but incorporating more detailed descriptions, specifications, and usage tips can aid customers in making informed decisions.
4. Revamp FAQ Page
Currently, your FAQ page is quite simple, The "FAQ" image appears too large, making the aesthetics feel overwhelming.
You might consider adding a search bar so customers can easily find the answers they need, as well as a contact form at the bottom for immediate inquiries.
Feel free to check out Moosedesk’s demo store here: https://moosedesk-demo-store.myshopify.com/pages/demo-faq
Moosedesk offer a variety of beautifully designed templates to help you customize your FAQ page meticulously.
4. Generate leads through blog/email marketing
You can create a dedicated blog that provides knowledge and useful tips about outdoor categories. By leveraging SEO tactics, potential customers can naturally find your content and subscribe to weekly newsletters or updates.
5. Add a live chat support
I can see you already have a Live chat on your store. How about making your live chat more powerful to help you assist potential customers instantly, addressing their questions or concerns in real time. This can prevent abandonment and encourage purchases.
I suggest exploring MooseDesk, a free Live Chat, WhatsApp & FAQ App. MooseDesk provides auto-reply features during non-business hours, a proactive help center, and a user-friendly widget layout, offering an effective solution to enhance customer support on your platform.

Hi @wrw1509! I'm Tracy from BON Loyalty, the essential Shopify loyalty program app.
Your store is already in great shape—navigation is smooth, the product organization is solid, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into the structure. But if the goal is to increase conversion rate rather than just traffic, then let’s focus on getting the right traffic and making sure visitors actually buy. Here’s what I’d recommend specifically for you:
1. Make the hero banner more inclusive
Right now, the homepage hero section is heavily fishing-focused, which makes sense given your audience. But since your store also sells camping gear, bikes, and sports equipment, this could unintentionally alienate customers who visit for other outdoor needs.
Quick Fix:
- Rotate hero banners that highlight different product categories (e.g., camping gear, outdoor sports, or biking).
- Use dynamic banners that change based on customer behavior—showing camping gear for someone who recently browsed tents, for example.
This way, you broaden your appeal without losing your core fishing audience.
2. Optimize product pages for conversions
Your product pages are well-structured, but some tweaks could increase add-to-cart rates and reduce hesitation:
- Make the CTA stand out: Right now, the "Add to Cart" button is visible, but it could be more prominent, especially on mobile. Adding a sticky Add-to-Cart button ensures customers don’t have to scroll back up.
- Urgency & Trust Signals: Shoppers are more likely to buy when they feel urgency or trust. You should consider adding: Low-stock alerts (e.g., "Only 3 left in stock!"); Estimated shipping times ("Ships in 24 hours"); A small trust badge (e.g., "100% Satisfaction guarantee") near the price.
- Boost Social Proof: Right now, no customer reviews are visible on product pages, which could cause hesitation. Since you already have an established audience, encourage reviews by: Offering a small discount for leaving a review, sending post-purchase email reminders asking for feedback
- Improve product visuals: While the images are clear, adding zoom functionality, a 360-degree product view, or even a short video demo (e.g., showing the sunshirt in action outdoors) would make a big difference.
Overall, your website is already in great shape—it’s clean, professional, and speaks directly to your audience. By implementing these changes should help you turn more visitors into paying customers—without needing to constantly increase traffic. Let me know if you want to dive deeper into anything!
If you find these suggestions helpful for you, please let me know by giving BON Loyalty a 'LIKE' or marking it as a 'SOLUTION'. 😊
Cheers,

Hey there @wrw1509 Your store looks pretty stacked and well organized already so my major recommendations would be that
- You add some videos to the product gallery to make the products appear even more apoealing
- You add a section for FAQs on the homepage as a way of providing clarity on some matters regarding your store and products.
