Eco-friendly upcycled gifts, art and home decor. Friends and fam are being sweet and telling me my site/products are good, but I've been open since July and only 3 sales. 😞

My name is Richard - CRO Expert at PageFly Free Page Builder. First, as your friends and family said, you have a lovely store. However, I would like to have some feedback which can improve it:


Sticky Header: A sticky header will follow the users' screen and keep appearing on their view. Customers won't need to scroll up to the top to find the header. There is a search icon on the header too, and you can show a full search bar with an input field to make it more visible to customers.


Banner: you have a nice banner with high-quality images, but there aren't CTAs on it. Please add more CTAs to redirect customers to the landing page you want. There should be at least 1 CTA per slide.


Featured Products: this section will show the product detail with a button like Add-to-Cart or Buy Now on the Homepage. It must be helpful to promote your flagship products.

More information in some sections: 

  • In this section, you may need to add more text about your products or brand to fill this section's right part.


  • This section only has a background image. Please add more content like heading, CTA, or contact form.


Hover-effect on image:  Showing the second image on hover can provide customers additional information about the products and collections.

Product Page

Product images: you don't use the product stock photos, which is very good. But some of your products do not have enough required images; there should be 3 to 5 product images for each product.


Review section: many customers will read the review on the product page even before the product description. This section also provides more information about the product to customers.

More section on the product page: in addition to product information, customers will want to check other sections like Shipping, Refund, or Warranty policies. Showing enough information on the product page will keep customers on this page and their journey to the end.

The home Page should flow better. I would recommend setting it out like this. Slideshow Image (with CTA button) - Collection List- New arrivals, Bestsellers- Testimonials- Newsletter sign up box- Instagram Feed

- Blog section looks good on the homepage. 

Add FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions), this page allows visitors to find answers to all their questions in one place.

- Add reviews on the product page.

- Setup recently viewed on the product page, cart page & homepage.

- Add web push notifications on your store and it will help you in reaching your customers and visitors directly.

- Welcome customers with welcome & discount popup.

- Make sure to enable automatic workflow emails/push for abandoned cart, win back old customers, welcome email, purchase follow-up, or browse abandoned customers.

Hi @FramedChic !

Change the theme, now your theme looks unprofessional and not an eye-appealing. Try ADORN THEMES -a collection of Shopify themes.

The sale you have seems to be a nice deal, however, when you make such a big amount off it might devalue your product. People always need to know why you have made such sales, is it a seasonal sale? or is it because there is no demand for it? Does that mean the product is bad? 

Instead of giving a discount for nothing, give them rewards for completing certain actions on your store ex. for creating accounts, for leaving a review, for sharing your site, for spending money on your site. It is not difficult for a user to do and you will get so many actions on your site, and you are having discounts anyway.

Social media has become a huge thing nowadays. I highly recommend taking advantage of that and adding Instagram galleries on your homepage. It will help drive traffic from your site on to your account and vice versa.

Now, onto my feedback..

Your products are very unique and niche so doing your SEO properly is going to be key. I can see you have done some work on your SEO which is great, but you are missing some essential keywords. Take this product for example:


Although these are good keywords, they aren't the right ones for you because you are not reaching your intended audience. I'd recommend using words that would resonate with your intended audience ie. upcycled, repurposed and etc. We hear from a lot of store owners A LOT that they get a lot of traffic but no conversions and that is because they are getting the wrong kind of traffic. We’ve created a video walking you through how to do your SEO properly so that you can target your intended audience:

My last recommendation is a marketing strategy. I'd recommend getting on YouTube or Instagram Reels and creating entertaining and informative content on how you make your products. If it's YouTube, it could be a longer video where you take the visitor along to the thrift shop and talk about what type of items you look for and then take them along the journey of how you make the products and then during the video tell them where they can buy this product. This will be a two fold source of income since you can use it for marketing and sales for your Shopify store but it could also be passive income once you are eligible for monetization on YouTube. If you want to do shorter videos, IG Reels are a great way to go, just do a sped-up video of you creating a product with a link back to your store.
