Hey guys, I just need some feedback on my Shopify store. It's ( Let me know your opinion and how you would do it differently. Thanks! Also, it's not finished yet I'm still working on it. Do you have any advice to give?

Congratulations on getting your site up! I took a look at your store and have a few suggestions that will help increase conversion rate: 

1. Testimonials. Showcasing a few testimonials on your home page -- whether from online customers or family/friends, helps promote more consumer trust and confidence. 
2. Revamping detailed pictures and fonts. The fonts for the product title are a bit hard to read and your detail pictures seem to be not the right size (some part of it is cut off). Also, the Photoshop quality isn't so great. 
3. Call to action button. Add an add-to-cart button or any call-to-action button underneath each product. 
4.  Blue background. Just a personal opinion, the changing blue background is pretty but is distracted me from viewing the products. 
5. Ask your customers! (Most effective for increasing conversion) When you have some converting customers, ask them how they found out about your shop. You can easily do so with a post-purchase survey app, and reward your customers with coupons/points to keep them coming back again. Once you find out your strongest marketing channel, focus more effort and money on that.

Last thoughts: Your products can go pretty well if you play your social media game right. Try to create original content (Pics, videos) with the product and try to gain a social following! Idea: ASMR video of coming home and using all the products as part of a come-home from-work routine.

Regarding your new store, congratulations! Although I think it looks fantastic, I have some suggestions that might help you increase your conversion rate (CRO).

1. Have a favicon to enhance recognition

A favicon, or a favorite icon, is a small, iconic image that represents your website in a browser tab, bookmark lists, and within the browser's address bar.


A favicon helps in reinforcing your brand identity. When users have multiple tabs open, a distinctive favicon makes your site stand out. This can increase trust and recognition, which are vital for conversions. You can add a favicon using your brand logo. 


2. Highlight all the button to convert more sales

Highlighting all buttons on a website is a significant user interface (UI) design strategy, particularly in the context of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO). 


You should use colors that stand out against the background of your website. The buttons should be immediately visible to users without them having to search. High contrast colors can draw attention to the buttons, but they should still align with the overall website color scheme. Consistency in button design (shape, color, size) across your website helps users quickly identify actionable items.

3. Edit the background image to make it fit the screen

Editing the background image of your website to ensure text visibility is crucial for an effective Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) strategy. Currently there are some sections that text can not show, they are being cut off in some corner.

4. Include a testimonial to build trust

Testimonials from customers or clients provide social proof, which can significantly influence the decision-making process of potential customers.

Testimonials that address potential concerns or share positive outcomes can be particularly effective. You can test different formats and placements of testimonials to see which variations resonate most with your audience and lead to better conversion rates.

5. Make use of the holiday season

Here are some campaign ideas tailored to your business:

  • Festive Bundles: Create holiday-themed bundles that combine complementary products at a discounted price. For example, a baking essentials bundle for the kitchen or a spa-themed bundle for the bathroom. These make excellent gift options.
  • Gift Guide Showcase: Develop a Christmas gift guide that categorizes products based on different personas or price points, like "Gifts Under $50", "For the Baking Enthusiast", or "Luxury Bathroom Picks". Promote this guide through your email marketing, social media, and on your website.


  • Holiday-Themed Contests or Giveaways: Run a social media contest or giveaway with a festive theme. Encourage participants to share pictures or stories related to your products, like their favorite holiday recipe using your kitchen tools, with a hashtag for tracking. Offer attractive prizes that include your products.


The key to a successful Christmas campaign is to start planning early, target your promotions effectively, and create a sense of excitement and festivity. Each campaign should be well-integrated across all your marketing channels – website, social media, email, and in-store (if applicable).

- Add a favicon to increase your store identity

The first thing I saw when I accessed your store was a favicon, every store needs a store icon to make customers remember and increase store identity. I think this is extremely important, so you should add it as soon as possible. 



- Move your CTA button

This CTA button needs to be moved to the under heading and description, because the customers will read in order: Heading - Description - CTA Button. If your CTA Button above, your customers will skip to click it and then read only the heading and description only. 



- Add an ATC Button to your product section

I think the purpose of every Shopify user is to sell stuff and make money. To do that, you should have some tricks to drive your customers to checkouts, the ATC is one of those. This thing help your customers checkout quickly without navigating the product page. 



- Add trust badge for your store

The trust badge can create the safety feeling for your customer, and it’s also your commitment that your products and your brand are secure and safe. I highly recommend you find free apps in the Shopify store rather than designing by yourself, because they have many beautiful pre-made templates for you.



- Add social proof 

Social proof is one of tools that helps you create customer awareness and customer trust. The social proof here can be social media feed (Instagram Feed or Tiktok feed) or customer testimonials, these two options you can find in Shopify app store, there are many free apps you can choose to use.

- Add Shipping & return policy

I can say you have a pretty clean product page. However, your product description needs more information about shipping & return policy, this helps increase customers time. They don’t need to find the Shipping policy and Return policy page on your website, they just read all in product description part and click on buy. 



- Join the Christmas and New Year party

This is the best time of year to level-up your store and boost sales. Don't forget to create events during this holiday season. I recommend you to create a discount of maybe 10% to 15% to attract more customers.
