I started a new women’s boutique less than a month ago and I’ve had 736 visitors but no add to carts or sales. I’m not sure what to do at this point for my website to be successful.

Your idea of the web layout is good, so here I want to add more details to help you make the store perfect and increase conversion rate:

 

1, Decrease the size of header

The big logo leaves too much unused blank space next to it. To prevent this, I recommend you to:

  • Decrease the size of the logo
  • Put the menu bar next to the logo to consume the blank space on header.

2, Make the most of hero banner

The hero banner is where you can attract the most attention to your store, so we can use it to increase conversion rate by:

  • Using high-quality image; the recommended size for hero banner image would be at least 1200px
  • Add Call-to-action button at the middle of the banner (i.e “Shop Now” button)

3, Use bespoke images for collection list

Make sure customers can clearly understand what they will buy

4, Add secondary hover images for product list

The secondary hover images help making your page looks lively and give customers a better look at your products

I had a look at your website, it looks great. There are few areas still needs improvement.

Testimonials and reviews :Testimonials at bottom of home page to showcase your store’s happy customers ,which will give positive impression about the store .You can make a great impression on your customers by displaying testimonials. When good reviews are shown, your audiences will likely stay longer and take action. You can add them below your product on your home page.

As per navigation, customers sometimes may lost track of their products they wished to purchase, try to add recently viewed products feature. 

Rewards : Rewards helps to increase the orders, and make customers to buy the products with rewards . You can give rewards for registration, subscription, Order credits, Cart Value, Item review, Monthly, Birth day, Referral and many more. This will assist you with captivating your customers and hold them. You can compensate your customers to reclaim those focuses. At the point when you will offer focuses to them they will come back again later on to cause a buy to reclaim those focuses. Setup a reward program for giving points and let customers redeem on their next purchase.

I can also suggest social login page like login with facebook,  instagram , google ,linked in and twitter. which helps the customer to login easily .

Hi!

Congrats on your store. My opinion on top of Shopify and Pagefly Recommendations is that you:

- add more products to your store. You have 4 apparel categories and only 2-5 products in each category. Customers like to shop for apparel and get more than just one item.

- try to offer free shipping on a smaller amount. These days nobody likes to pay shipping anymore and based on the limited amount of products you currently have listed, it would be difficult for someone to select items they like for $150

- change the font of the product titles to something easy to read

- improve the description of the items so that you convince customers why they should buy that item 

- add related products to product page 

- and, very important, setup email marketing automation with basic flows like: site/browse/cart abandonment, new subscriber/customer welcome, repeat/vip customer flows, etc

Hope you are doing well.

I understand how it can be frustrating to be doing everything right but still not getting your traffic converted to sales. You may find comfort in knowing that you're not the only one on that boat. Millions of Shopify store owners are facing the same problem. This is not because you are necessarily doing something wrong, but rather because Sales is an organic process, involving people getting to know you, visiting your brand, looking at your products, comparing them with others, and finally making the decision to purchase from you. So this takes some time, during which you have to hold on tight. But, you can't be just passively waiting for sales to grow, so I would recommend you look at these tips and see which ones you can use: You have great faith in your online shop, but why aren’t visitors converting?

Another Thing you could consider: Not all traffic is good traffic.

Traffic will only have any chance of converting to sales if they are being generated by the right consumer. If your product is for females under the age of 30, but your ads are being viewed by males over 50, that is a lot of traffic, but it will never convert to sales. So, before you spend on targeting, a good idea is to have a simple Google Trends search, that will tell you who is looking for the products you search, what is their age, gender and location. Then you can put forward some really targeted ads that are bound to generate clicks.

Here are some areas where you could consider working on

  • I see that your store doesn’t have a Favicon. Having a favicon on your website is crucial. It makes your site recognizable on browser tabs, but it too gives a professional look to your website.

  • You should also add a Call-To-Action (CTA) or a Shop Now button to the banner, so that users can be redirected to the relevant product page, without much delay.
  • Use a star rating widget to let website visitors evaluate your business. They create standardization, allowing customers to compare different or products easily. It also helps you get feedback about your products.

  • Because this is an online store and people cannot touch and feel your products before buying them, they rely heavily on product images, which is why the images have to look top-notch.

    The main problem most Shopify store owners have is that they upload raw images of their products. On the website, this makes the product color dull and unappealing.

    Rule of thumb - never post unprocessed images on your website. In case you are looking to make your images sharp and professional, contact CutOutWiz for any image-related solutions.

  • People always don’t know everything about a product beforehand. When they see a product or show interest in a product, they want to know more about the different aspects and specifications of the product. I had viewed your website shortly and here are some of my points that I hope useful and you can implement on it easily.

Some of items have single gallery image, Try to add more than one gallery image.

You can add Videos of your products. And Using instruction videos, It will attracts viewers.

Rating and Reviews:  Customer reviews are fixes the value of of product, And these will decides the your business growth. These will helps to increasing of your customers.

Add Testimonials: Creating a genuine testimonials are trust worthy. This is the one kind of marketing communication b/w customer and business person. So you can add efficiently.

Trust Badges: Trust badges your visitors know that your page is legitimate and that any data they share will be collected through secure third-party service providers. Your customers feel they can trust your website, And they are more likely to make a purchase.

Add Blog: You know creating/adding of blogs gives you a great way to generate fresh content on a website and provide a catalyst for email marketing, social media promotion to drive search traffic to your website.
