New Home Dashboard on the back end not better

The Home Dashboard display looks new, but I feel it's no better than before.

Ours is a barren wasteland. It used to contain helpful information as a home page should but now it is near enough pointless.

I agree with this. I feel like the theme/display of Shopify changes often when there are many other things that could make Shopify much more user friendly.

Gone are the daily sales, the total summaries at the upper right corner,  sales channels, payouts, etc.  Why remove such useful items?  Basically, everything on the right side column.  Please bring them back.

this new layout and design is horrible. They need to have an option to revert back to the right side panel. This new bar graph design is clunky and takes too long to find all the same info that was available at a glance.

It's horrid. I love being able to see which products are selling well at a glance, summaries etc. Being able to choose day, week month. that was SUCH a useful window and I feel at a loss now. I hope Shopify brings it back asap.

Agreed. I would like to know how this design got approved. Obviously designed by someone who doesn't have a store...

Oh, and the stats are not correct at all. They are grossly different between the phone app and the desktop. Total sales and traffic are WAY off

Not only is it not better - it is WAY worse.  They did have a useful homepage but no more.  Now you have to go to several pages to get the information you need.  Plus what is with the "close" numbers on the homepage sales.  Mine says 3.1k for sales - what the heck good is that when the real number was 3,146.56??  They let a programmer with NO sales experience do this all themselves....

The old home dashboard at least had some very useful information at a glance.  There is hardly anything useful on it now.  First they take away the search bar on the product and inventory pages, and now this.  Making changes for the sake of making changes and not taking into account how these pages are actually being used by shop owners is making me re-thing my switch to Shopify...
