New store launch - Any feedback highly appreciated

I recently launched my new Shopify Store:

The shop offers fitness equipment and the market is Switzerland.

I appreciate your honest feedback and any recommendations for me.

Haven't done any Ads/campaigns/etc. yet, so traffic is still near 0.

Congratulations on launching your online store! Looking into your store URL, I noticed that you are using an announcement bar to make your visitors aware of a free shipping offer. What do you think about also including a potential discount to create a buyer incentive? It is a great way to get your visitors browsing through the available collections/products.
Additionally, you could add a slideshow section to the homepage as the first section under the header navigation menu. This can help strengthen your brand and showcase some of the available products. For example, you could include your best seller or favorite products in the slide. It can also allow the homepage to become more interactive and engaging for your visitors. 
You can add more social media business pages to the footer of the store to provide your customers with security as this will allow them to reach out to the business across various platforms. You can add social media icons to the footer of the store by navigating to the Theme Settings

At the moment, I only habe IG set up, still some work to do.

Here's what I would do:

  • Add a language selector to make the site available in English
  • Make the logo smaller as it occupies a lot of valuable space above the fold
  • Only show the hamburger icon on mobile, the menu items should be aligned in a row on desktop
  • Add a transparent logo to the footer, the one you have right now looks out of place with a different background color

For the product page:

  • Add value proposition and benefit-driven statements
  • Implement color swatches instead of plain text for the variants
  • Create a strong call-to-action with a different background-color that stands out
  • Hide the dynamic checkout button
  • Add payment icons below the CTA
  • Instill scarcity/urgency
  • Add trust seals
  • Create a three-step journey
  • Add FAQ section
  • Install a product review app

Starting out is a bold move and takes a lot of effort, doesn't it? Really great to connect with you here. Your site's looking super clean and clear – awesome job! I've had a chance to check it out and I've got a few tips that might help you spruce it up even more. 

Before starting, there are two key first steps for an online store:

  • Get people to come to your store.
  • Help them decide to buy something

1. Make your store easy to find in search engines → Bring more people to your store.  

First, you need to help people find your store. If you don't want to use ads, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) can make your store show up in search engines. You can improve your product titles and descriptions, or write blog posts using keywords popular in Switzerland.

For instance, with the keyword “CrossFit jump rope”:

  • Title: CrossFit jump rope 
  • Description: Use this keyword 1-2 times, but also focus on your product's main features and how it helps customers.
  • Blog posts: Write about the health benefits of your jump rope, or why it's a good choice.

It might take a few days to see results, but this is a cost-effective way to make your store visible, attract visitors, and gain customers' trust.

2. Optimize your store appearance and responsiveness. 

  • Add an "Add-to-Cart" button to every product.
  • Use colors that stand out more. Your background color is a bit dark, which can make it hard for visitors to see things. Sometimes, just a white background works well.


  • Add more pictures of your products, showing their materials and how customers can use them in real life. The easier it is for customers to imagine the benefits of your products, the more likely they are to buy.
  • Start a promotional campaign or offer discounts. Here are some ideas:
    • Offer a 10-15% discount on the first order for customers who sign up. (Some examples are Merry Muscle Deals, Santa's Fitness Special, Frosty Fitness Offer,...) 
    • Give a discount for buying more than a certain number of items. (For example, Sweat More, Save More; Group Gear Savings, …)
    • Offer an extra 15% off the next order for leaving a review. (For example, Feedback Frenzy Discount, Opinion for Offer, …) 
  • Plus, with Christmas and Black Friday around the corner, consider adding some festive decorations to your store. I've got some references you can check out for inspiration.
