No sales and little traffic

Hi I’ve had my store over a year now have had no sales and little traffic, I do post on Instagram, could someone please advise thanks LiliandAlice.com

1. Make the Home page slideshow more attractive
The slideshow/banner on the Home page should help the right visitors dive deeper into your website while also weeding out the people who won't find value in what you offer.
2. Add favicon to your store which is a small square image/logo that appears next to a web address.

Favicon helps to strengthen your brand and add a polished look to your website. See shopify help here 
3. Add sections like 'New Arrivals', 'Featured Collection', 'Hot Sellers' to help keep customers updated on new products and give exposure to new collections.
4. Add more detailed product description in product pages.
The product description should provide visitors with important information about the features and benefits of the product so they are motivated to buy.

5. Add product reviews as most of the customers read the review before purchasing the product. Even sometimes by reading reviews, customers may look to understand whether your product will suit their particular situation and make the decision to purchase the product.
6. Display store's contact info like phone number, and office address in the Contact Us page.
7. You can add testimonials on the home page to make the store look more professional. Testimonials allow your satisfied customers to step forward and address the questions and objections that fill the minds of your prospective buyers for you.
8. Add your store social media accounts in the footer.
Having social media for the store will help increase the traffic.
9. A FAQ would be useful to provide quick information to help customers make a purchasing decision and also to reduce the time your employees need to answer simple questions.

1. Have a clear search icon

If you don’t have a site search–or if you aren’t making the most of it–you could be missing out on revenue.

 

2. Have a favicon for your store

3. Have a sticky header

This will help customers navigate from every part of the homepage to any page of your store more conveniently.

The banner is very significant in hero material. It is the first thing customers see when they visit your website. Let's get consumers to know exactly what you're having in 5 seconds first.

This is the “above the fold” area. It's better for your web design if you can display your hero banner in its entirety when your audience visits your site.

Unfortunately, the current banners displayed in a slideshow seem to be cut off. This might result in a high bounce rate so please change them asap.

If possible, please make this section full-width.

 

5. CTA buttons

A primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store.

With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, or a product page, etc.

It’s such a loss when you missed a “Shop all” button on your banner. A CTA button here will urge visitors to make the purchase and it is a great way to optimize your home page.

This helps your store outlook more professional and aesthetic
