Feedback for your online store from the community
Dear community,
I know this must be the zillionst question on why a shopify store can't seem to make sales, but I sincerely hope that some of you can help me out.
I am trying to take my first steps in online sales with ShineOn products. Not the most unique and exciting thing, but a good way to start, I figured.
I really worked hard to set everything up, but there were a lot of obstacles, just because of the fact that I am a German living in Mexico and wanting to sell worldwide with a focus on the US.
I managed to take on all those challenges and when I launched my store I had reasonable traffic through facebook ads. Also my products seemed to get likes and website traffic wasn't bad. But no sales.
I hope that some of you might share their thoughts on possible reasons with me. I'd greatly appreciate that!!!
I am not afraid of hard work and if I see what I can improve, I'll take every step to do so.

Congratulations on launching a new store. Must have taken lots of hard work and dedication to make your store look good. I took a look at your store and have a few suggestions that will help increase the conversion rate:
1. Testimonials. Showcasing a few testimonials on your home page -- whether from online customers or family/friends, helps promote more consumer trust and confidence.
2. Revamping detail pictures. Would be nice to have some model wearing the necklace to showcase how it is rather than in a box.
3. Call to action button. Add an add-to-cart button or any call-to-action button underneath each product.
4. Adding a blog. Adding emotional or sentimental blogs about stories of family relationships could draw an audience. Or adding blogs about gift ideas for family members can help too. The blogs primarily helps wit the SEO of your site and bring the right audience.
5. Revamp your banner image. Your current image is a little blurry in my opinion. Would be great to showcase people wearing the necklace or scenes of gifting etc.
6. Ask your customers! (Most effective for increasing conversion) Ask where your converting customers are coming from. You can easily do so with a post-purchase survey app, and reward your customers with coupons/points to keep them coming back again. Once you find out your strongest marketing channel, focus more effort and money on that.
