Hi, @TrulyUnik.

Thank you for your message, I would be happy to offer you some feedback on your shop. I really enjoyed looking through your shop, it looks like you are offering some great products for your customers. My first thought would be that your homepage is a little bit busy, showcasing all your products front and center. Have you considered creating a menu system for your products as well as your shop sections at the header of your site?

This would give your customers quick navigation access to the important areas of your shop. You may even want to categorize your products into collections and create a drop-down menu under a products menu item. We have a helpful guide that walks through menu items here, that you can check out if you are curious to investigate this idea further. As my example screenshot shows, I would also suggest creating an About page. An about page is a great way to teach your customers about the story of your shop and brand and helps create customer trust and retention. We have a great guide that talks about writing an effecting about us page here that you can check out.

I would also consider adding an Announcement banner to the header of your shop. An announcement banner would be displayed at the header of your shop and be used to inform your customers of important information, such as:

  • any shipping delays or regions not accepting international shipments
  • any updated or new policy pages
  • any promotions being offered at this time, such as new gift cards

Depending on what theme you are using for your Shopify store, you may have a banner feature built-in, feel free to reference our banner guide here for more information. If you are using a third-party theme you can look into third-party applications that can add an announcement banner for you, here are a few banner app examples if you need them:

- Quick Announcement Bar

- Bannerfly

You mentioned that you have not had any sales in the shop yet, have you done any marketing and promotion for the store to bring potential customers to the store? If so, I would love to hear more about what sort of techniques you have put into play. If you have not yet started to market your shop, I would also love to share with you some techniques and guides you can look into further to potentially help bring some more traffic and sales into the shop.

First I recommend referencing our Marketing and Promotions guide for more information and details on how to start marketing your store to potential customers. This guide will walk you through:

I would also suggest looking into improving search engine optimization (SEO) for your shop, you can reference our guide here for this. SEO helps you improve your store on search engine listings to help customers find your shop easier.

Another great resource you can look into is our fantastic article that talks about increasing website traffic, you can access it by clicking here. This article walks through excellent questions to ask yourself and shop, such as:

  • Is this a good product? A “good product” means that it’s good enough for your audience and passes their implicit cost-benefit analysis.
  • Is there a large target market? A market is a group of people already spending money on something. Are people buying the same type of product?
  • Is there an addressable target market? An addressable market is a group of people with visible shared qualities, already spending money on something. Is there a market segment you can focus on?
  • Is there a great product story and/or compelling copy? You might have a clear “why” for the product in contrast to competitors, but you need to translate that pitch to compelling web copy. Does your product pitch resonate with them enough to purchase?
  • Is there a low-cost way to reach this audience? The goal should be to keep customer acquisition costs low. Are there multiple ways you can reach potential customers?

It also walks through some great examples of what you can utilize to start gaining more traffic to your store:

1. Facebook ads
2. Instagrams ads
3. Pinterest ads
4. Google Ads

It is a fantastic and in-depth article with loads of useful information and guides for further building on your store's marketing plans and traffic building initiatives. I hope some of this information helps you out moving forward, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly with any questions you may have!

Hello @TrulyUnik,

I've taken a look at your store. Nice collection! I've some suggestions to increase the conversion rate.

1. Add a header with menu items so that its easy to navigate through the store.
2. Discounts and limited-time offers will help to increase sales.
3. Add a section for email Newsletter in the footer to give updates pertaining to your business, products, and services.
4. Add more specific product title/url in product pages.
Creating the perfect SEO product title/url can help the search engine understand exactly what it is you are selling and drive more traffic to your site. So try to keep the product title/url unique and more specific.
5. Add filters in collection pages to help your visitors narrow in on the specific product they're looking for and find products they might be interested in based on certain features (e.g. size, color, category)
6. Add sorting feature in collection pages for changing the order of any product listing whereby users can choose which criteria they want the products to be listed by.

You will get less sales and traffic if your products are not found on Google. When your customers search on Google, your product can be found only if Google has indexed the page. flareAI will show which pages are found on Google, and which are not. flareAI also helps to get your new products found on Google, the world's largest FREE eCommerce sales channel

Hope this was helpful,
Gina
