So far my skin care line has been up and running for almost 2 months now, we’ve hit nearly 4,000 impressions or viewers to the website but not a single sale!! Not sure what we’re doing wrong or how to get viewers to actually buy the products 😞

You have a beautiful website. I believe a few adjustments may be required to make it more professional and appealing to customers.

 

Here are some recommendations:


Header:
1. Announcement bar should be located at the top.

2.Favicon missing

3Wishlist missing

4. Social media Icon missing

Homepage: (First Impression is the last impression)

The homepage is the first landing page your customers will see after opening the website. Yours is done beautifully. Home page banners can include a slider and video also to make it more attractive.
1. Add featured products on the home page with an add to cart button.

2, Featured Products / all Title should be Optimized and Seo Friendly 

3.Add a featured collection on your home page.

4.Add sticky add to cart button on home page collection features.
5. Add a Lead magnet section on Home Page.
6.If Possible, add Instagram feed on the home page.

 

Collection and Product Page:
- Add Product Review on Collection Pages
- Add Sticky add to Cart and Buy now Button for quick checkout
- Add Trust Badges below add to cart or Buy now Button 

- Add Products Bages like New, 10% Off, You Save 20$ or Free Shipping
- Add Mouseover on 2nd image Features  

 

SPEED Optimization:

1.Your site might be in need of Optimization too. As per Google Insights, your site score is 34 which means that attention is required here. A well-optimized site rates 60+ for mobile version, this affects your SEO ranking and decides how many customers/visitors view or find your website as 80% visitors use mobile to place the order. This is especially important if you don't want to invest in advertisements.

 

Speed optimization is required to increase sales and traffic. Also, if your speed is not good, your website ranking will definitely fall.

First of all, congratulations on your new store! Generally, I love your store’s design, it looks professional and elegant. However, a beautiful look seems not enough to convert. From my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions (focus on what influences your user decisions) as hereby:

1. Announcement bar

  • Currently, the announcement bar has the same color as the below part, making it hard to recognize. Let’s change the color to make it stand out.
  • Also, you can shorten it to make it more actionable. Eg. “Get Free Shipping! Join our email list”

2. Homepage:

  • Improve First Image: What do customers really care about? Of course having a clear skin, as you mention. Therefore, making the first impression of how your products affect their skin through a lifestyle image - an image of a clear skin model with your products, for example, will impress your customers and motivate them.

Same in other parts, let’s add more usage images.

  • Testimonials: You have great testimonial videos, which is what customers will take into account when evaluating a skincare brand. Let’s make it easier to access and stand out! See example:

  • Benefit slide: Just like your announcement bar, let’s make it stand out for users to easier skim!

3. Collection page:

  • Users prefer convenience and quick information capture. Let’s add some additional information such as “For dry skin”, or a product short introduction. 
  • You should make the Add to Cart button easier to reach.

  • I see the hover effect to change the product image is a bit slow that I barely recognize. Let’s make it quicker if possible.

4. Product Page:

  • Product Image: As mentioned above, you should consider adding more lifestyle and imagery showing the product results - clear skin. And, make the media list bigger for easier scan.

  • Product Description: Let’s make the product description straightforward and user-centric (eg. for dry skin) Consider adding some bullet points above the “Add to cart” button. Here’s an example (with a product lifestyle image and clear information display)

  • Add a sale badge will definitely motivate buyers to make quicker decisions. Let’s add the “20% Off” or “20% Off with code “20OFF” stand out here
  • If you’re a new brand without real website reviews, adding the testimonials sections can increase brand reliability. People are careful with their skin. Additionally, adding a trust badge and product benefit section will also increase their trust. See example:

In general, you have created a great brand website with an elegant and minimalist look. However, some aspects should be improved to be more “customer-centric” and show brand value in the way customers love and trust.

Let’s put yourself in your customer's shoes and take my above suggestions into account.

Hi @Acnea

I think there's a very key issue here. Your website is well-designed already, you can keep optimizing it, but it will never be enough. To make a customer buy your product you need to make them trust in it. 
Few things that could help and do not need any agency intervention:

  1. Add before-after images in your product images. I see that you have them on home page, but people are making buying decisions on the PDP. 
  2. Open up your product description. Your product description comes up after clicking on a small hyperlink, which is not discovered easily. You need to gain people's trust in your formulations. You're competing in a crowded market. So tell them why your product is better, why people should try it. 
  3. Add one more section about your product below the description. Talk about the benefits, the texture, or some user feedback.

Acne is a very personal problem and people tend to buy instantly in hope. So you have to induce that hope and belief.

Please don't go about hiring any agency or over-optimize your website. You should do that once you have some sales.
