Feedback for your online store from the community
Hello,
Could someone take a look at our website leloxx.com ..And give me some feedback on why you think we haven't got any sales?
We did run ads on TikTok and Instagram and posted and boosted videos and we worked on our SEO ..
If we could get some feedback about the product itself and if we should change anything of how to drive more traffic to our site.
Thank you
Kate&Kyle.

Hey there @katenkyleleloxx firstly, I love the fact that there’s a little video in the homepage that shows how the product works and helps keep the socks together. Visuals in stores are very important.
Your product is very niche based so my main recommendation in terms of marketing would be to direct almost all your energy into the specific kinds of people that will genuinely be interested in the product. For example, search for socks lovers communities in places like Reddit and Twitter and try to engage with people and market your product there. I think you’ll get way more results that way as opposed to just running ads.
The store itself looks pretty good to me and the only essential missing is customer reviews which you should make sure that you get once you start making sales. I hope these suggestions are useful to you and I wish you the best of luck!

Thank you so much for your feedback we really appreciate all of it and we will explore more in finding sock communities.

Hi Kate & Kyle,
Thank you so much for sharing your site and your story. I can imagine how frustrating it can be to put in so much effort and not see the sales rolling in just yet. I’ve taken a look at your website, and I’d love to offer some detailed feedback that might help enhance the shopping experience and potentially drive conversions.
No "Compare at" Prices (Anchor Effect):
One of the key psychological principles when it comes to pricing is the Anchor Effect. When customers see a “Compare at” price, it sets a higher reference point in their minds, making the current price seem like a deal. By not having this in place, it may feel to the shopper that they’re paying the full price, even if you’re offering discounts elsewhere. I recommend showing the original price crossed out next to the current price to create a sense of urgency or value.
Reduce Vertical Scroll on the Product Page (PDP):
I noticed that the size guide and other elements are taking up too much vertical space on the product page. A simple way to improve this is to place the size guide next to the size selection rather than underneath. This would make the page more compact, and shoppers won't need to scroll so much to find the "Add to Cart" button.
Compact the Product Description:
On the product page, the description takes up a lot of space and could potentially overwhelm or distract customers. I’d suggest condensing the description to 1-2 lines and placing it near the size/price section. Another approach is to move the detailed description and materials below the "Add to Cart" button. This allows customers to focus on the key purchasing details first (price, size, etc.) and dive into more detailed information only if they’re interested.
Add User-Generated Content (UGC) and Reviews:
Social proof is one of the most effective ways to build trust. Right now, the product pages feel a bit bare in terms of customer reviews and UGC. Consider integrating reviews or testimonials—especially if you can get photos of customers using your product. This builds credibility and shows potential customers that real people love your product.
Add Trust Elements and Unique Selling Points (USPs):
Adding trust badges (such as secure payments) and unique selling points just below the "Add to Cart" button could improve customer confidence. For instance, you could highlight features like "Free Shipping" or "100% Pure Cotton." These small visual elements can help reassure the customer at a glance that they’re making a good choice.
Color and Visual Fatigue:
While the light blue background on your site is unique, it can lead to visual fatigue over time. Lighten the blue further or switch to a plain white background. This would allow your product images to stand out more and create a more relaxed browsing experience for your customers, letting them focus better on your products.
Show Discounts Clearly:
If you’re running any discounts, make sure they’re highlighted on both the product page and in the cart. A lot of customers love to see the savings they’re getting before they proceed with a purchase, and this could be a great motivator to complete their order.
These are just a few suggestions to help enhance the user experience and build more trust with your customers. I really believe that with a few tweaks, you’ll see an uptick in engagement and sales.
I hope this helps, and I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Wishing you the best of luck, Shubham from Untechnickle

First of all, good job on creating a nice-looking store with a free theme. As it is free it has some limitations but yours looks better than most with the same theme. I think you could use better font and more content in general.
For example on the homepage:
The collection page is too basic, I do not like that outlined add to cart, it does not attract enough attention. Some description would be good also more text is always needed. Also filter by color would be nice to have.
The product page: here is more obvious to me that Add to Cart to not stand out. It is like 5th or 6th element that I would notice and that is not good for conversion. And besides that video, I would add at least two more sections. Something to emphasize the look, feel, fit, and quality. And customer reviews are a must. And do take care of URL handles check this page https://leloxx.com/products/aspen-2-copy it should be aspen-peach-sunrise. Plus description on that page is way small.
In general, your products are great and maybe deserve a custom or paid theme with more features and better conversion. Do also check some of the bigger names that sell socks, and get some ideas. In time I am sure you can make some bundles, packs, "Family pack", " for "Her & Him" and subscriptions. Also, people love sales, and there are some holidays every month as an excuse 🙂 Some gift boxes are a good way to sell more.
Anyway, I think you have a good future, wish you luck and good sales.

Hi @katenkyleleloxx , I took a quick look at your site, and it looks great visually! One suggestion might be to simplify the user journey—ensure the checkout process is easy and seamless. Also, consider improving product descriptions and adding more social proof, like reviews or testimonials. Running retargeting ads to those who visited but didn’t purchase could also help.

Hi Kate and Kyle,
So sorry to hear you haven’t had any sales yet despite all your hard work! From what I’ve seen, your SEO looks great. One thing you might consider is trying a targeted Pinterest campaign. Pinterest is a fast-growing platform with over 335 million active users, and it’s a great way to reach people who are already interested in products like yours.
You can set up a Pinterest campaign to showcase your products, and the best part is, for the first 50 days, you won’t be charged for ads! After that, it’s just $2/day if you want to keep going, and depending on your location, you will even get $100 free in ad credits.
What do you think? Would Pinterest be something you'd like to try? Let me know your thoughts!
