Hello ,

Can you please help me understand the problem with my store, I have no sales or traffic. Knowing that the only time there is traffic is when I run an ad campaign. here is the link to my store : https://www.sportamateurstore.com/

If you can give me some advice on what improvements I should make, I'm thinking of hiring someone to change my store design, logo and domain name if that could be the problem. What do you think?

I attached a screaming frog capture but I can't solve these problems can you tell me how to solve them thank you.

i also have a problem in google merchant centre .

Hi @abdolah12! I'm Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.

From what you’ve shared, it seems your store faces challenges with organic traffic, on-site engagement, and perhaps branding. Let me break this down into manageable sections:

1. Organic Traffic and SEO:
- Technical SEO Issues: Address the errors identified in the Screaming Frog report, such as broken links and duplicate content. You should consider optimizing title tags, meta descriptions, and header tags for relevant keywords.
- Content Strategy: Create high-quality, informative content like blog posts and product guides targeting relevant keywords (e.g., "Best Gear for Amateur Sports").
- Optimize images with alt text to improve search engine visibility.

2. Store Design and Branding:
- Visual Appeal: Ensure your store has a modern, user-friendly design that is mobile-responsive > Consider hiring a professional designer to create a visually appealing logo and overall brand identity.
- Domain Name: While a domain name change might help, prioritize fixing the underlying issues first. If you decide to change, choose a domain that is relevant, memorable, and easy to spell.

3. Google Merchant Center:
- Product Feed Optimization: Review and resolve errors in your product feed, ensuring all required fields are accurate and complete.
- Comply with Google's Merchant Center policies to avoid feed disapprovals.

4. Paid Advertising:
- Ad Campaign Optimization: Use Google Ads to target specific demographics and interests. Create compelling ad copy and visually appealing product images.
- Track your campaign performance and make adjustments as needed.

5. On-Site Conversion:
- User Experience:Improve site navigation and make it easy for customers to find what they're looking for.
- Optimize product pages with clear product descriptions, high-quality images, and customer reviews.
- Call-to-Action:Use strong, clear calls-to-action to encourage purchases.
- Consider implementing upselling and cross-selling techniques.

Regarding your question about whether you should hire a designer: If the design feels unprofessional, it might be worth investing in a designer or developer to revamp it. However, the design alone won’t solve deeper issues like traffic and brand awareness. Focus on a holistic approach.

What immediate actions you can take:
- Fix technical SEO issues from the Screaming Frog report.
- Resolve Google Merchant Center problems to maximize ad performance.
- Improve the visual appeal and user experience of the site.

Hope this help resolve the challenges you are facing. Good luck!

Hi,

One issue is that your home page has a lot going on. You have an image with a "Shop All" button, the collections, and then the best-selling product sections.

With many options, that makes it difficult for someone new to your site to focus.

To improve your home page you can remove the button and collections. Then, change your image to one with a few of your best selling products.

Then, use an app like Shoppable Image Hotspots

This app allows you to add links to products in images. Having links to the products without even scrolling, increases your CTR. A higher will lead to more sales.

Hello there @abdolah12  I would recommend you start by adding a “newest arrivals” section in addition to the best sellers section.
I would also recommend having a store blog page where you write about different sports products linking to the ones you have in your store. This would help drive organic traffic towards your store.

Lastly, it would be good for you to link the social media accounts of the business on the homepage so customers can stay easily up to date with the store and your products.

Hey there @abdolah12 this is Alexis from Akohub. I just reviewed your website, and found some issues where you can work on:

First, I saw that your website has no social proof, which is crucial! Customers love proof. So what you can do is add customer reviews or testimonials. Additionally, you can include a trust badge, like "Free Shipping" or "30-day returns" . To do this, you can integrate with Judge.me, a customer review app. And if you'd like to incentivize your customers for leaving a review on your website, you can use our app, Ako Marketing, to give points to those who reviewed it! It's integrated with Judge.me so the process will be seamless.

Second, your hero banner. Instead of “Come One, Come All To Sport,” use something more action-oriented or niche-focused, like “Your Trusted Gear for Fitness & Adventure"  with a stronger CTA like "Your Next Workout Starts Here - Explore Gear"

Also, you mentioned that your traffic is from ads. It seems like your organic presence might need more work, so here’s what you can try:

First, try to audit your SEO. You can check your Screaming Frog report and focus on meta titles, descriptions, and alt tags for images. These help Google understand your site better. Next, you can write blogs about fitness tips, sports gear comparisons, or “how-to” guides can attract search traffic over time. For example, “Best Beginner Outdoor Sports Gear in 2024” could be a great topic! Then, leverage social media! Share engaging content on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Micro-influencers can be a cost-effective way to promote your products to a relevant audience.

Also, have you thought of running retargeting ads? It helps to bring back visitors who didn't convert the first time around. Show them the products they viewed along with a small discount as this can be super effective for turning “maybe” into “yes!” If you’re looking for an all-in-one solution, our app, Ako Retargeting, combines retargeting with loyalty and CRM features, helping you bring in new customers and keep them coming back.

Good luck! Let me know if you need any questions 🙂 We'll be happy to help.
