Feedback for your online store from the community
We are having issues with orders being marked shipped or ready for pick-up, then the next day it goes back to showing unfulfilled. This issue has us shipping orders twice.
Anyone else having issues with this?
I can completely relate to the challenges you’ve mentioned about order fulfillment—it can be such a balancing act to get everything running smoothly. One thing that has helped me in similar situations is focusing on efficient resource allocation and having clear systems in place. It's amazing how much streamlined operations can reduce stress and improve customer satisfaction.
Speaking of management strategies, I’ve come across useful practices in industries like real estate. For example, effective block management services ensure seamless operations and coordination, which might parallel the kind of structured approach needed for fulfillment processes. Drawing inspiration from other sectors can sometimes spark creative solutions!
Wishing you all the best as you optimize your order fulfillment process!
Hi @AlandGray,
Yes, we’ve experienced a similar issue before, and it can be really disruptive—especially when it leads to orders being shipped twice. In our case, the problem was caused by a third-party app syncing order statuses incorrectly. After reviewing and updating the settings, the issue was resolved.
It’s worth checking if any of your connected apps (inventory, shipping, or automation tools) might be interfering with Shopify’s default fulfillment status. Sometimes, even a minor configuration can cause unexpected behavior.
We’ve implemented our own system for tracking fulfillment and avoiding duplicate actions, which has significantly reduced errors. If you're looking for a streamlined process or industry insights, feel free to visit our Remax Canning Town page—while we mainly operate in the property sector, we apply similar automation and tracking principles across various platforms, including e-commerce.
Hope this helps, and best of luck getting it sorted!
Check the order timeline, it will show exactly what happened on the order.
Good tips from @Tee-Yo for the details, just sharing that quick hit because it solves most problems.
