Over 50k tiktok ad views but no sales

Hi all, 
I have opened my store two days ago and I'm running ads on tiktok, facebook and instagram. I have got over 50k views on a single tiktok ad (most of people viewing and leaving likes are from Egypt and that's a thing I do not get with the ads) but there are no sales at all.

Would anyone be able to give me some reason or tips to improve the conversion rate?

You'd probably need to better target your ads.

Have you provided your location to FB/IG/TT so they can better target  the ads?

Your IG page lacks all this info.


For your site -- it looks good, but lacks a lot.


Even if we assume your visitors come with intention to buy, they are afraid of fraud.


Usual stuff people would look for -- who you are, where you are, where are you shipping from and how fast (general shipping terms page is missing), what legal entity you are (terms of service are meh too) and so on. What are return terms (just in case) -- missing too.

About us would help.


Having actual address and claiming it on Google maps will further improve your chances to sell.


You have your phone number -- good. Put it in your header so that people will see you're real. Add it to contact form page.


Also, get access to Google search console and make sure you're all good there -- for when you would not want to rely on paid ads.

Tim made some good points I agree with.


Couple more to add:

- A popup triggered immediately for me, and I instinctively tried to immediately close it, clicked around and realized I had to click a specific text in the popup. I would get rid of that. It's annoying for a lot of people - if it's their first visit and you're already asking them to give you something (their email address in this case) without them knowing who you are, that's a big turn off. Let them browse your site a bit and gain interest and trust before asking them for something.


- I like that you have the About page linked in the header, but a lot of people aren't going to sit and read a wall of text. I think it's good to have details and the amount of information is good, but add a couple pictures in there to break it up and give a visual, this also builds trust. If people see you or the team wearing the jerseys, that's a big level of trust that separates you from the standard start-up dropshipping site that just sells products.


- Social media ads can be hard to convert into customers unless you're working with a professional marketer or have a unique / innovative product. I would consider starting with Google Shopping, these type of ads reach people searching for the products you carry, they almost always convert higher for newer stores than social media ads

- Add a Cart Icon to the Cart Button: I notice your add-to-cart button does not include a cart icon. I recommend adding a cart icon to encourage impulse purchases and streamline the user experience. It also enhances customer satisfaction by clearly indicating which products have been successfully added to the cart.




3. Support


Last but not least, don't overlook the importance of customer support for your new online store. It's essential for ensuring a positive shopping experience!

  • I do not see any size chart or product description about the size, it is really hard for customers to choose the item.
  • The product description is excessively lengthy; consider adjusting the layout to display it more effectively and emphasize key information.
  • Enhancing the Sale Badge: To make the sale badge more prominent and attract customer attention, consider using brighter colors, a larger font, or a more noticeable position on the product images. The goal is to make sure it stands out immediately to visitors, drawing their eyes to the discounted items.

4.Add a featured collection on your home page.

5. Add a Lead magnet section on Home Page
6.If Possible, add Instagram feed on the home page.

7.Add customer reviews on the home page to gain the trust of the customer.


8.Footer must be compact and informative and should contain all the important links like - About us, Our Story, Contact, Privacy Policy, Return Policy, Terms of Services, FAQ.


Collection and Product Page:
- Add Sticky add to Cart and Buy now Button for quick checkout
- Add Trust Badges below add to cart or Buy now Button 

- Add Images Sliders

- Add Products Bages like New, 10% Off, You Save 20$ or Free Shipping
- Add Mouseover on 2nd image Features  


SPEED Optimization:

Your site might be in need of Optimization too. As per Google Insights, your site score is 54 which means that attention is required here. A well-optimised site rates 65+ for mobile version, this affects your SEO ranking and decides how many customers/visitors view or find your website as 80% visitors use mobile to place the order. This is especially important if you don't want to invest in advertisements.




Speed optimization is required to increase sales and traffic. Also, if your speed is not good, your website ranking will definitely fall.
