Feedback for your online store from the community
Hi, I'm wondering why nobody's adding my product to their cart. I've been running Goggle ad and have targeted traffic (over a 100 people/day), however, nobody has even added to a single product to cart. Why would people click on the ad and then not attempt to purchase?
Any feedback would be very welcome. Website: https://www.babyclo.us/
The link lands on my main page, but if you could review my website that would be so appreciated. I am completely frustrated and don't understand what am I doing wrong... Please help!
Thank you in advance!
Your site looks fine I’d say. You could be misinformed on the traffic though. Often we have subjective opinions on what “targeted traffic” actually is and with just a 100 visits per day, you might not have enough data to figure out what kind of traffic converts for you. How long have you been running the campaign for?
I have been running ads with Google Ads for little over 2 weeks. Overall, amount of people that visited my site is close to 2k, but 0 conversions.
I don't think you have visual or technical issues on your website that matter too much. I assume your ad targeting is also okay, as people are clicking on it. Make sure the right people are clicking on it; look at the countries where you have traffic. Sometimes we get lost in technical details, design, etc., but we forget things about the product itself, such as quality and price. I think your price points are too high compared to the market. Please check your competitors, as I do. Simply type your products into Google Shopping. I mean, even branded products are priced lower than yours, which should be higher because of brand value.

Another thing I am considering is that you do not have a personal touch, any videos, or photos from customers, or live chat, etc. Your website and products look so perfect and artificial for a startup.
Hi @BABYCLO ,
I’m Garcia, a CRO expert from PageFly - Advanced Page Builder app.
Your store looks really beautiful and lovely! Still, even the smallest of details regarding your store’s visuals can cost you a lead, so here I’ll provide you with some suggestions that can potentially bring in conversions:
1. For the Homepage
Also, consider displaying your hero banner in full screen, as well as fixing your texts here, too. Your hero banner should include a memorable heading and an attention-grabbing description of what your store sells.
Consider turning your current display of products into a single row that can be scrolled horizontally, and using two sections at max: Featured Collections and Featured Products. The rest of the page can be used for other interest-aiding sections like About us, Trust badges, Seasonal offerings, etc.
This is also helpful if you’re looking for a way to implement benefit badges when visitors are looking at your product pages (such badges include free shipping, money-back guarantee, etc.)
2. For the Collection page
3. For the Product page
You can refer to our example product page template to get a better clue:

There actually should be an option to bold the price but it’s going to require CSS. If you scroll to the bottom of your editor section do you see a custom CSS section? If so you should be able to type a “ . “ in it and different class names should come up. You’re doing to want to look for the class name that includes price in it specific to your theme. Then type ( for example ) .grid-product__price { font-weight: bold; } . I hope this helps 💕.
Hi Bablyclo,
This is Amee from Gojiberry - Shopify Survey & Feedback App.
First of all, I think your site looks pretty good. Your product looks attractive and the price seems reasonable! I tried putting a product in the cart and seems like there's no issue at all. Are you able to see the add-to-cart stats on your end?
1. Emphasize safety & comfort. For parents to put garments on their newborn they might be concerned with material safety. I saw that you have written it's 100% cotton on your "about page", why not emphasize that instead of what you have to offer?
2. Connect Social Media. Instead of asking people to follow, I think its more effective to connect your social media feed to the store. Whether people follow or not they can see your latest feed. This can help with social proof.
3. Adding a blog. Writing about parenting tips, baby fashion etc can help draw in the right audience for your shop
4. Influencer Collab. Since you have visually appealing products, it would be good to connect with micro-influencers, send them some of your pieces, and ask them to create some content for your social media as well as your Shopify store.
5. Connecting online with offline. If you have a showroom / physical store, make sure to always be telling your customers about your online store, adding a quick card with your online store address provides your new customers a chance to purchase again without coming to your physical store.
6. Ask your customers! (Most effective for increasing conversion) When you have some converting customers, ask them how they found out about your shop. You can easily do so with a post-purchase survey app, and reward your customers with coupons/points to keep them coming back again. Once you find out your strongest marketing channel, focus more effort and money on that.
Hope this helps!
