Partial Payment on Manual Mode

Is there a plan to split payments or allow partial payments when submitting manual orders?  Id like to allow partial payments but theres no way to do that besides creating two orders.   Any plans in the works?

I understand that you're looking for a way to split payments or allow partial payments on manual orders. Just to confirm, are you referring to draft orders?

There isn't a way to split payments or allow partial payments on manual payments. However, I'd be happy to share your feedback as a feature request with our development team. If Shopify moves forward with any changes to draft orders, then we'll be sure to announce them on the Shopify Changelog.

That being said, creating two draft orders is recommended if you need to split payments for manual orders. One for capturing the initial payment and one for capturing the remaining balance. On the other hand, you can accept partial payments using Shopify POS or by using an installments app for online orders (eg. Shop Pay Installments, PUT IT ON LAY BUY, Affirm pay-over-time messaging, etc.). 

I'd love to hear more about your business! What kinds of products are you selling? Can you tell me more about the manual order that you're trying to split for payments?
