Payment problem

Hi all, when setting up my Shopify store, I may have incorrectly put in my the wrong details for my bank account. I am now receiving and error: 

 

To change your bank account, make the following changes:

  • Old account must match the information we have on file. Contact support if you need further help.

The problem is, I can't match the old information as I don't know what error I made.

Thanks for outlining your issue here so clearly for our Community.

As you don't have the correct info to enter here due to having initially entered it correctly, you'll just need to reach out via our help centre, where we'll be able to access and discuss your account securely.

Let support there know that you cannot update your Shopify Payments banking information and cannot retrieve the correct info from your bank as it was not entered correctly to begin with.

From there we'll be able to forward your query to a specialist team who can help to change your bank info safely.
