Hello Dear Ones;

Hope you are all great. I need help to install my payment providers. I chose FasterPay, and tried to follow instructions. But I still don't get how it works.

1-)My first quiz is, should i create the business account that have to be activated before i can try receiving payment? Even for the test mode?

Then once the business acount is created (but not necessary activated),i should go on integration board to get the keys to connect shopify to FasterPay. Once i do that, what is next step?

2-)After using keys to connect shopify to FasterPay, what should i do?

3-)What is pingback and how to set it on fasterPay? Is it an obligation? i tried to process by the guides on fasterpay website but i didnt understand

4-)Do we need to set delivery confirmation? and how?

5-)How should I do with pingback settings?

Generally, can someone tell me, step by step, how should I do to set fasterpay with my Shopify shop? The easiest way to understand it

Thanks

My Shopify link : sonypark.myshopify.com (I'm right now in test Mode, so don't pay attention to the product)

Hi, @GeovaniTCHOBO!

As FasterPay is an alternative payment provider outside of Shopify, they would have a documentation on how to integrate their payment gateway onto your Shopify store. I've taken a look at their online documents and they have provided instructions here on how you can install the FasterPay plugin on your store.

If you're still having issues with integrating this, you can also reach out to FasterPay's team as it looks like they can often help with setting up their payment gateway.

Out of curiosity, is there a particular reason you're looking to integrate FasterPay for your store's payment gateway? If your store is eligible, we also have Shopify's very own Shopify Payments available. You can read more about it on our FAQ page here.

Hello @Kimi ;

Hope you're fine. Thanks you for the help. But I still have the problem. Actually Shopify Payments doesn't work in my country, I'm in Benin. Even stripe doesn't work for my country. That's why I'm trying with FasterPay.

And I still have quiz. Seems like you can't sell products as long as you didn't pay for Shopify plan, isn't it?

I'm having issues with confirming my business profile. How can I do?

Thanks for clarifying @GeovaniTCHOBO.

What kind of issues are you running into with your business profile?

In terms of selling your products, you won't be able to do so until you've chosen a paid plan on your store. A lot of our new business owners start off on the Basic Plan, as it's a great fit for those that are new to ecommerce. You can also take a look at our plan and pricing page here, and click on the 'Show plan features' button for a complete breakdown of the different Shopify plans available.

Have you given any thought on which plan you'll choose when you're ready to launch your store?

Hello @Kimi

Thanks for the answers. Actually Faster declines the information that I gave for business country, and all that part. They also declined my payout informations, particularly bank beneficiary, the address, and the rest. How should I do because I don't understand why. I need to tell me if :

-The infos you give on your shop on Shopify should be same that the fasterpay business account on faster otherwise it won't work, isn't it?

-How should I do to clearly complete the infomations for business location and bank beneficiary that is a regional bank in Africa (UBA) ;

Thanks Sir

Hello @Kimi

Hope you are great today. Sorry, I need some more help. Yesterday, fasterpay support responded me that they don't work with dropshipper.  So now, I don't know how to do. Which payment providers can I use for my shop?

-Is PayPal legit? How many days before getting the money paid by my customers?

-Can I only use PayPal?

-Is there a way to install apps or others payment providers?

Thanks

Best regards

Kimi

@GeovaniTCHOBO

PayPal is a popular payment gateway that a lot of merchants use on their Shopify store, so it's definitely worth looking into to see if this is an available option for your store. As PayPal is a third-party payment provider however, it's best to directly contact them if you have any queries about their payment gateway. They'll have their own ways of collecting funds from customers and sending this through to your account, so the PayPal support team would be best equipped to answer those queries for you.

There are also some other payment gateway options for Benin that you can take a look at, check out our website here for a list of them.
