Hi @samueltoys,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. This is MooseDesk - All-in-one Shopify Ticketing System App.

I would like to share my point of view regarding the difference between digital and physical products. Firstly, let's look at the pros & cons of each of them:

1. Selling digital products

Pros:

  • No inventory management
  • No shipping process
  • Passive income
  • Easy automation

Cons:

  • Competing against free products
  • Competitive market
  • Easy to replicate

2. Selling physical products

Pros:

  • Straightforward transaction
  • Easy to demonstrate value

Cons:

  • Shipping and handling fees
  • Harder to scale
  • Time consuming

Deciding between physical products and digital products is not about which is one is better but rather than going with what you are best at. For example, if you have a winning physical product idea with a niche market then you are better off with the physical option. On the other hand, if you have limited resources and low risk tolerance then you should go with the digital option.

By the way, if you are about to start your business and you are looking for a ticket management system, our newly launched app called MooseDesk can be your trusted partner on the journey ahead. We are currently offering MooseDesk for FREE to all early birds and our 24/7 support is always ready to provide you all the support you need.
