we are producing and selling juices and liquors.
currently my shop is set up to sell either a single product or a variant in bulk - for example you can buy just 1 bottle or 3 or 6 or 12. When you choose one of the bulk variants, you get an automatic discount.
Right now i seem to be running into problems with Google Merchant Center not fetching the right prices. This brought up the thought: Is this actually a good way structure my products and sell them?
Have a look at the shop here any feedback is much welcome! The shop is in german, feel free to auto translate.
The price in the data feed must match the price on the landing page and checkout at all times.
If you want to apply a discount, best to do this at the checkout and show it as a discount. DO NOT automatically lower the price. This is reason for disapproval.
Interesting - that would mean i'd never be able to apply any discounts on the product page? Because customers are buying those discounted variants and i want them to see that they can save money when buying in bulk...
You can absolutely offer discounts on the product landing page. As long as the price you show on the landing page, matches the price in the data feed (the shopping ad)
