Hi @Lovely00,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. We are MooseDesk, a comprehensive Live Chat, FAQ & Helpdesk App designed to elevate your customer support experience.

Congrats on your new store! Your store looks stunning. I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this. However, I have some comments to make the good get even better. Here are some of my recommendations for better customer experience, please kindly check.

1. Revamp the Navigation Menu:

Consider adding links to different sections in your navigation menu. This will allow users to easily navigate and explore your website, making it more user-friendly.

Your navigation menu should look like this. Here is the article for your reference:

MooseDesk_0-1721447943515.png

2. Include a Hero Section:

A hero section at the top of your homepage can be very effective. Introduce your products and highlight their unique selling points with high-quality images and appealing descriptions. This will instantly communicate what you are selling and attract customers to explore further.

Here is an example:

MooseDesk_1-1721448125363.png

3. Add an About Us Section:

Introducing an About Us section can help build an emotional connection with your customers. Sharing your store’s story and mission will foster trust and make customers more likely to buy from you.

Consider using this section for your About Us content, as it is more suitable for the About Us section than for the footer:

MooseDesk_2-1721448271435.png

4. Include a Reviews/Testimonials Section:

Displaying positive experiences from previous customers can greatly influence potential customers. A Reviews or Testimonials section will enhance credibility and encourage new customers to make a purchase.

5. Optimize Homepage Image Display:

Instead of displaying all your products on the homepage, consider a section titled "Recommended by Us" and display items in a slider format. This way, users can see all items in a single line without overwhelming the homepage.

6. Strategically Place CTA Buttons:

Ensure that Call-to-Action (CTA) buttons are strategically placed across your homepage. This will guide customers to different sections of your website efficiently.

7. Revamp the Footer:

Enhance your footer by including a sitemap so customers can easily navigate your website. Additionally, include your store’s contact information to assure customers of the legitimacy of your business.

You can follow this example:

MooseDesk_3-1721448340417.png

8. Product Page Image Slider:

On the product page, use an image slider for all product images to minimize scrolling. Additionally, remove duplicate images from the description section to keep the page clean and organized.

9. Structured Product Descriptions:

Divide product descriptions into clickable sections. This allows customers to quickly find the information they are interested in without excessive scrolling.

Here is an example for you:

MooseDesk_4-1721448432413.png

10. Add an FAQ and Contact Us Page:

An FAQ page can address common customer concerns, and a Contact Us page with a contact form provides an alternative way for customers to reach you, enhancing customer support.

I suggest exploring MooseDesk, a FREE LiveChat, FAQ & Helpdesk App that can help your support experience easier, better, faster!

With MooseDesk's Omnichannel Support, you can engage with customers through live chat, manage inquiries with a robust ticket system, and provide quick responses via a WhatsApp button.

Hi @Lovely00 Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns about your Shopify store. I’ve taken a thorough look at your store (b0b5fe.myshopify.com), and I’d like to provide you with some insights and a solution to address the issue of receiving more solicitations from experts rather than actual sales.

  1. Design & User Experience:

    • The overall design is clean and professional, which is great for establishing trust with your customers. However, ensuring that the navigation is intuitive and that key products are easily accessible can help improve the user experience. Consider adding clear categories and featured products on the homepage.
  2. Product Descriptions:

    • Ensure that each product has a detailed description highlighting its features, benefits, and unique selling points. High-quality images and customer reviews can also enhance the perceived value of your products.
  3. Call to Action:

    • Make sure your call-to-action buttons (e.g., “Add to Cart,” “Buy Now”) are prominent and engaging. You can also consider adding limited-time offers or highlighting best-sellers to create a sense of urgency.
  4. Trust Elements:

    • Incorporate trust badges, secure payment icons, and clear return policies to build confidence among potential buyers. Adding an “About Us” page with a compelling story can also help connect with your audience on a personal level.

Addressing the Solicitation Issue

It’s unfortunate to hear that you are experiencing solicitations from individuals posing as customers. This can be a common issue for many store owners. Here are a few steps to mitigate this problem:

  1. Email Filtering: Implement stricter email filtering to identify and separate potential solicitations from genuine customer inquiries.

  2. Customer Verification: Add a customer verification step, such as requiring a purchase history before offering personalized support or engaging in extended communication.

  3. Pre-emptive Messaging: Include a note on your contact page indicating that unsolicited service offers will not be entertained, which might deter these attempts.

Coupon Discount on Cart App

To further enhance your store’s performance and encourage genuine customer engagement, I highly recommend integrating the 'Coupon Discount on Cart' app. Offer automatic discounts directly on the cart page, encouraging customers to complete their purchase. This can significantly reduce cart abandonment rates. By displaying available discounts upfront, you can enhance the shopping experience and incentivize customers to buy more, thereby increasing your average order value. Providing discounts and deals can help in building customer loyalty, encouraging repeat purchases and positive word-of-mouth. The app is easy to install and manage, allowing you to set up various discount rules without needing advanced technical skills.

You can explore and install the app using the following link: Coupon Discount on Cart.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out.

Best regards,

Ina

Hi @MooseDesk

I am experiencing a similar issue with my store, as I have been receiving multiple messages from scammers and individuals pretending to be Shopify experts. Can you provide me with some feedback? I have not seen any sales from my ads, particularly in my ongoing campaign. Customers seem to leave once they view my dress collection or add items to their cart without completing a purchase after visiting my homepage.

My store Link is:

Thank you in advance

Hi @EagleHunted

I'm sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing. Unfortunately, these types of messages are becoming increasingly common for many online store owners. Here are a few reasons why you might be receiving these scam messages:

  1. Public Exposure: As your store gains visibility, it naturally attracts more attention, including from scammers. The more popular and successful your store becomes, the more likely it is to be targeted.

  2. Public Contact Information: If your email address or other contact information is easily accessible on your website, it can be harvested by scammers looking to send out mass messages.

  3. Common Keywords: Scammers often target businesses using specific keywords related to e-commerce, such as "Shopify," "e-commerce," "online store," etc. If these keywords are prominent in your online presence, it can increase the likelihood of being targeted.

  4. Automated Bots: Many scammers use automated bots to scrape websites for contact information and send out mass messages. This is a widespread tactic and can affect any online business.

Here are some recommendations on how to reduce messages from Scammer:

  • Use Email Filters: Set up email filters to automatically sort and block suspicious messages. Many email services offer advanced filtering options to help reduce spam.

  • Report and Block: Report any suspicious messages to Shopify and block the senders. This helps improve the overall security of the Shopify community.

So this is my answer to your question. If this is helpful for you, please let me know by giving MooseDesk a 'LIKE'. If your question is answered please mark this as 'SOLUTION’.

Once again, keep up the fantastic work, and I wish you the best of luck in the future!  😍
