Feedback for your online store from the community
Hey Shopify Community,
We just launched a new Spring collection on our site and was hoping some of you would be able to provide some feedback on the overall look and feel of the site and products. Our store is Bogeybearclub.com .
Thanks!
Bogey Bear Team
Hello Murad, we actually do have a blog, the link is in the footer menu. I removed it from the main menu in order to reduce clutter.
For some of your shirts and hoodies I would consider having a design on the back as well if the customer is going to pay a decent amount for a shirt. Personally, when changing pages, I would prefer it if the LOADING sign was just solid and did not flash. Possibly more color options for apparel. Good work so far!!!!
Hi @BogeyBear
This is Richard - CRO Expert at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app. Congrats on your new Spring collection! Your store looks stunning, and I can tell you've put in a lot of effort. From my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions as hereby:
Homepage:
1. Make the header sticky
After resizing the header, you can make the header sticky. A sticky header allows customers to quickly access the navigation, search, and utility-navigation elements whenever they scroll up or down on the page. It is also the fastest and most useful way to access the necessary information for the customers when they reach your website.
2. Make a higher-quality banner
The existing banner is excessively long, requiring users to scroll down to access the call-to-action (CTA), potentially causing them to miss out on clicking and making purchase decisions. Moreover, your CTA is more likely to be ignored since it is too far to the edge and it colors is overlapped with the background.
To address this issue, I recommend creating a shorter banner that can fit within a single scroll at most. Additionally, it would be beneficial to make the CTA more prominent by centering it and using more contrasting colors.
Same issue with the lower banner
3. Item Alignment
The item lists are not well-aligned with each other since some items have long titles, some items do not, ect.
You can make them align in one line to make the site more professional.
Product page:
1. Use correct swatches to indicate color
Swatches provide a more accurate visual representation of the product's color options, making it easier for customers to quickly imagine and see all available color options, which pushes them to make quicker decisions. It seems like the swatches do not indicate the right color now:
2. Provide lifestyle images
Users need an understanding of how the product will look on their own bodies before they feel comfortable purchasing. Without this context, users must estimate the suitability of a product based on other less helpful images and product information, resulting in lower confidence and a lower likelihood to move forward with purchasing. This is an example:
3. State the size of the model
Telling a detailed size of the model gives customers an idea of how the product will look and fit different body types. It also adds credibility to the product and shows that you are transparent about the product's specifications.
4. Include both the User rating average and the number of ratings
Many users rely on ratings and reviews to select products and displaying them right on each product in the first place can quickly build your credibility.
Furthermore, you can consider using a page builder app with a Shopify theme made for this fashion niche to enhance your store appearance and increase the mobile experience for customers. You can check out the following themes Blum, Sense, Dawn…
Good luck and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Richard | PageFly
