Dear Shopify Support Team,
I am reaching out to report an issue regarding a fraudulent transaction with one of the sellers on your platform, Nuvita-ind.myshopify.com. Below are the details of my order:
Order Number: 18781

Delivered on: [Insert Date]
Product Ordered: 9 pieces of men's premium briefs (₹999/-)
Product Received: 1 piece of poor-quality brief
Seller: Nuvita-ind.myshopify.com
Shipment Provider: Shiprocket (COD)
I placed an order through the website "Nuvita-ind.myshopify.com" for 9 pieces of men's premium briefs. However, upon receiving the package, I found only one brief of very poor quality instead of the advertised 9 premium pieces.
I did not receive any order confirmation email from either the seller or Shopify. Additionally, when I logged into the website, my account showed no order history. I attempted to contact the seller via email, but I have not received any response.
I also reached out to the shipment provider, Shiprocket, for assistance in returning the product and requesting a refund. Unfortunately, despite providing all the necessary details, Shiprocket closed my ticket without taking any action to resolve the issue.
Given the fraudulent nature of this transaction and the lack of support from both the seller and Shiprocket, I kindly request Shopify’s assistance in facilitating a return and processing a refund of the amount paid (₹999/-). I have a video recording of the unboxing, as well as all shipment details, which I can provide upon request.
Please let me know how I can proceed to resolve this issue.

I read through your situation carefully, and I completely understand how frustrating it is to place an order expecting 9 premium briefs but receive only 1 low-quality item instead. Since the seller is unresponsive and your order history is missing from your account, this does raise serious concerns about fraudulent activity.
Contact Shopify Support Directly
Since Shopify is a platform that hosts stores but does not manage individual orders, you’ll need to report this seller through Shopify's report form. Explain the situation clearly, attach your proof (including your unboxing video), and request Shopify to investigate the store.
File a Chargeback (If Applicable)
If you made the payment using a credit/debit card, contact your bank immediately and request a chargeback for a fraudulent transaction. They might be able to reverse the payment.
Raise a Consumer Complaint
Since Shiprocket was the shipment provider and closed your ticket without resolving the issue, consider filing a complaint on their official grievance platform. You can also escalate the case via consumer forums or legal bodies in your country.
Warn Other Buyers
To prevent others from facing the same issue, you might want to leave reviews on public platforms like Trustpilot, Reddit, or social media. This may also pressure the seller to respond.
Shopify does not directly handle refunds or disputes between buyers and sellers, as it only provides the platform for stores to operate. However, they do take reports of fraudulent stores seriously, so make sure you report them with as much proof as possible.
