Review Beauty store which doesn't convert

Hello, I recently started my online dropshipping store https://visagevisuel.com/. I have been advertising for a while now but and have made over 200 clicks in total and spent around $250. However, after changing and trying different audiences I can't seem to get sales. I have gotten 1 sale so far, which was someone who first abandoned their cart and then after receiving 10% discount decided to purchase. Please, if you have any opinions or suggestions, I am just happy to read. I have gotten a few tips which might have helped me a bit.

@erikholm in this type of situation of having lot of traffic but no sales, that is where you make use of email automation to help you retarget your visitors by sending personalized message to there mail. and also it depends on what social media platform you are advertising on, you might have targeted a wrong audience or so

  • Have a favicon for your store - which makes your store look unique and professional.
  • Provide images of high quality on your website

However, I would like to give you some suggestions about your store so that you could consider changing and hope that the conversion rate is increased accordingly.

1. Having a sticky menu:

A sticky menu header helps customers to reach out to the menu and access the menu anytime they want.

Regarding this section, I think you should place a prominent search bar right on the header: The menu should have a search bar, and making a search bar prominent is very crucial. This helps customers feel rest assured and they can search anytime when they scroll up or down on the home page.

2. Featured image

It is of great importance that the featured image should describe what you are selling within the 5 first minutes of accessing your store. At this part, you’ve done great!

As you might know, a primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store. With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, or a product page, probably enhancing the conversion rates. 

Perfect!! You place the right CTA in the right place ~ Please rest assured that all CTA buttons will have the same styling to enhance the conversion rate. 

3. Avoid too much white space

As you can see in my screenshot below, there is too much redundant space between the image and the text, plus under this section. If you both reduce the space, and make the section full width, I bet your store outlook would be more professional

4. Create chessboard layout

I highly recommend you design these sections into a chessboard layout as your store could become much more appealing than now

Last but not least, here are my other recommendations for you, feel free to consider them applied to your store:

  • Make the price more dominant than the title by using another style for it. Also, make sure the discounted price is much more outstanding than the product at the compared price.
  • Add testimonials section: It is of great importance because your brand trust can be enhanced. You can check this guide to pick the best reviews app for your store!
  • Moreover, you should display the ratings and the number of ratings as well under the product name to enhance your brand trust. 
  • Add a section about your brand story: A business can stand out with its brand story. A brand story helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more attractive.

Hope you are doing good. Your store looks nice and here are few suggestions.

Add a nice store logo which gives Identity and it also separates you from the competition.

Consider testimonials or reviews on the homepage to build trust with the visitors.

Promote your products on social platforms and provide those social links on footer section

Make social links open on new tab.

Include Blog page, Blog posting will allow you to show your followers a personal side of your business. In this way you can engage with Existing and New customers.

You can promote your products with word of mouth strategy. Boost your sales with the app from the shopify app store   which helps to increase your sales.

There is no terms and conditions checkbox at checkout. I suggest you to install an app from shopify app store which provides 'I agree to the Terms and Conditions' before checkout .As it makes easy for the customer to read your terms and policies.
