Hi @Retro440 ,

This is PageFly - Free Landing Page Builder. I would love to provide my recommendations for your store based on 6 years of providing solutions for about 100.000 active Shopify merchants.

I have just had a look at your store. Your store is pretty. I have just some small things I'd suggest for your Homepage for a better chance of gaining sales. May it help!

1. Have an announcement bar

Basically, the announcement bar will announce the information about shipping and discount or any promotion campaign of a store.

2. Make a sticky and highlighted header

Sticky header helps customers easily access menu navigation although they scroll down or up on your page. Customers can also quickly reach the Search field to find products with a sticky header.

If your page is long, when you scroll down, there is no quick way to come back to your menu, especially on mobile. You do not have an anchor button to “Back to the top”, so it makes it very inconvenient for customers to go back to your menu and see other pages, products, etc.

3. Improve your hero banner

The banner is very significant in hero material. It is the first thing customers see when they visit your website. Let's get consumers to know exactly what you're having in 5 seconds first. Your current images are pretty but I think we can improve it more, it doesn’t show the attractive products you have.

4. Add testimonial - customer reviews

  • Customer reviews are proof of your product quality. This section will help you build customers' trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos.
  • Reviews are crucial when it comes to shopping online. PageFly allows you to add testimonials and product reviews to the page in easy ways

Besides, you can add blogs or reviews of your customer as testimonials. Here is an example of testimonials and unique points that are displayed on our page templates, you can refer more.

I found an article for you about third-party apps that are 07 Tools to Boost Your Conversion Rates and the best reviews app for your store.

5. Have a CTA button on the banner/ slideshow

A primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store.

With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, or a product page, etc.

To build a better Homepage, you also can take a look at our blog here: Personalize Your Homepage

Hey there, @Retro440!

Welcome to Shopify! You’ve put a lot of effort into the store, and it shows. I have a few suggestions for you:

Biggest issue: What do you sell?

On your homepage, there’s no indication of what you sell. Within the first 5 seconds of landing on your homepage, I knew nothing about your products. You’re spending more time talking about how you are and why they should buy from you when you need to switch it up.

Add a hero image with a strong CTA that showcases your products. While you have revamped the CTA funnel, you haven’t done enough to get people to click into it. They don’t even know that you sell clothes at this point.

Add highlighted collections. Don’t just sell your message here. If you don’t show why you sell, no one is going to click into your store to find out more.

Add announcement bar

You offer free shipping. I’ll repeat - you offer free shipping! This is information people want to know. Slap an announcement bar up that is linked to your collections. Shipping is a huge part of the buying decision, so don’t hide that away. Also, add your shipping policy to your footer.

Clean up the navigation

  1. Add in Shop “by collection” rather than “Shop Collections.” At first, it was redundant until I clicked into it. People aren’t going to make that connection on their own
  2. Remove the About Us section from the hamburger menu
  3. Leave the policy pages in the footer

Use a session recording, which shows you everything someone did on your website, to see how people move around your store. How do they get to your products? What path do they take?

Also use a heatmap to see where people are clicking, even in the hamburger menu. You can understand what people are looking for when they click in and then whether or not they found it.

Let’s talk policy pages and contact us

Make sure that the email addresses are linked. For your contact us, remove the phone number field - it’s a field with a high abandonment rate.

Include product reviews
Your product pages are fine. I’m not a fan of having a large image on top because it can confuse visitors, but you need to do some A/B testing to see what your visitors are thinking. My one suggestion here to make sure you offer reviews. Your visitors want to see what your customers think. Product-specific reviews are helpful in aiding visitors who made be considering making that purchase.

It sounds like a lot, but really it comes down to understanding what your visitors do while on your store. See how they move around. If you have people leave before checking out, run a poll to ask, “Is there anything that stopped you from checking out today?” The more you can learn about your visitors, the more you can tackle those pain points.  Lucky Orange has heatmaps, session recordings and more with a free trial (no credit card needed) and plans that start at US $10/month.

I hope this helps! Good luck!

Cheers - Danny

Hello @Retro440

Hope you are doing good. Your store looks nice and here are few suggestions.

Organize header section with adding menu options on header section.

Add few products with ATC(add to cart) from each collections on the homepage.

Consider testimonials or reviews on the homepage to build trust with the visitors.

Include Blog page, Blog posting will allow you to show your followers a personal side of your business. In this way you can engage with Existing and New customers.

Promote your products on all social platforms and provide those social links on footer section

Make social links open on new tab.

You can promote your products with word of mouth strategy. Boost your sales with the app from the shopify app store   which helps to increase your sales.

There is no terms and conditions checkbox at checkout. I suggest you to install an app from shopify app store which provides 'I agree to the Terms and Conditions' before checkout .As it makes easy for the customer to read your terms and policies.

There is no customer review option on the products. Install Product review app from the Shopify app store, so that customer can write a review when they purchase any product from your store.

You can also sell your products on Etsy marketplace as it is very good platform to sell unique, handmade and Vintage goods . If you are already selling on Etsy store consider our Etsy Integration app in the shopify app store. Etsy is a Huge marketplace for selling creative goods such as art & collectibles, crafts & supplies, jewellery &accessories and more,  if you have any unique/handmade/vintage goods in your store, you can give further exposure to your products.

Thanks,
