I just got my new store (canadelli.com) done by a Freelancer today , as I am newbie , could you please help me review my store and invoke some point to review or improve ? is it a ready store to get sales ?

Hi Mohamed

 

Your store looks good, a bit basic except for the homepage but in general clean. I say basic, not in a bad way, but it looks like a customized free theme. 

It is fine but there must be a lot of stores with a similar look. Note that does not mean the store is not ready. It looks ready for getting sales but that also depends on your marketing. Not just paying for ads but more of social reach.

 

For changes, your home banner is just too big, it takes too much space. Same for the video at the end, a bit big but also, while it is interesting not sure if it has any purpose. The collection page is simple enough, maybe think of adding some filters on the side. And while you do not have many products you could still try to make a few major collections. The product page, again basic but OK. Maybe try a different way to display product images and do change the add to cart button to be the full color. That way it will be more noticeable.

 

Wish you luck with sales, it will not be easy at the beginning but have patience.

I noticed there's no benefit bar. Adding a full-width bar at the top, highlighting key benefits like "Free Shipping," "Easy Returns," and "Quality Guarantee," can build customer confidence.

Improve the visual hierarchy to better guide users. Use high-quality images and concise text, making the most important information stand out with larger fonts and bold colors.

Redesign your Contact Form section to make it more prominent and highlight the “Subscribe” button. This is crucial as it can significantly impact return sales by collecting valuable customer information.

There is no pop-up promotion. Consider adding a pop-up promotion with a special offer or discount for new visitors. Make sure it includes a "Maybe Later" option and shows a reminder bar if not immediately accepted.

Product page

Product images are decent but could be improved. Use high-quality, authentic photos that show products in use or real-life scenarios. This helps build trust and gives customers a better idea of the product's practical use​​.

The CTA buttons are present but not very prominent. Make the "Add to Cart" button more visible by increasing its size and using a contrasting color. 

Also, there are some customer reviews but not enough emphasis. Display customer reviews more prominently, including star ratings and detailed feedback. Additionally, incorporate trust seals and badges (e.g., SSL, payment security) to reassure customers about their safety and the authenticity of the products​​.

The best way to implement server-side tracking is Google Tag Manager GTM.

Steps to be followed:

1. GA4 schema datalayer configuration for dynamic data collection from the website.

2. web container creation on Google Tag Manager

3. server container configuration

           server URL generation using Google Cloud Platform, or stape.io,

            URL configuration on server container and web container.

4. triggers and variable creation

                 triggers to define when tags should fire based on conversion events.

                 variables to hold dynamic data (e.g., order value, product ID) that will be passed to  tags.

5. tags creation

            Determine the actions you want to track (e.g., purchases, lead submissions).

6. once you set up the web container and connect with the server container data will be received by the GA4 client in the server container. 

 

If any cookie blocker /ad blocker/ IOS 14 update blocks the tracking code like Google Analytics 4, facebook pixel, and Google tag server side will collect data bypassing the blockade. browser side is almost dead.

I have load the product listing page and the product detail page but they take quite a long time to load which might affect customer experience on your website. You can compress or resize the images to reduce the loading time.

2. Product detail page
The description of your product seems to be quite long, it would be better you can make it shorter and sharper. The section "Why You'll Love This Product", you can use bullet points form instead of the long paragraph. And the heavy scripts also affect the page loading speed.

3. Starting a blog or creating content that educates your audience about your products would be beneficial. Then, you can add the blog section to your footer.

1. While browsing your website, I noticed the discount information. The categories in the navigation bar made it clear that your website sells household appliances and home decor. Especially at first glance, I saw two banners that are very eye-catching. The multi-language and multi-currency features, as well as the online chat, are all very good.

2. The homepage lacks an introduction to the store, which might lead to a lack of trust. Perhaps adding some scenes of the office, the shipping process, and the store’s story to the homepage would build trust.

3. Your two banners give me the impression that one is selling rice cookers and the other might be selling products with electronic displays. However, when I clicked on them, it showed a collection. I was expecting to see highly relevant products, so it was a bit disappointing.
