Feedback for your online store from the community
Hi,
I wish to request review on my shopify website www.mahafarys.com
After launch, in the last few weeks, I've had over 1000 sessions and not a single sale. In the past 10 days, I've had 6 abandoned checkouts which is making me think if there is something wrong with the checkout page. Or is this normal?
I had been selling on Instagram before, locally, and people love my product. But since I launched the website and started selling in the neighboring countries, I haven't got a single sale.
Any help is appreciated.
To update on my post. I just purchased the "currency converter" app which may help a little bit. It is adjusting currency according to the customer however, it reverts back to main currency at checkout. I am working on fixing this.

Google Search Console :
Is your website exist on the search result page? (Your brand name). If yes then it's good to see, google is indexing and the user will reach you easily. Unless your store is completely invisible.
If you are not using the Google Search Console yet, set it up now. Google Search Console report will let you know if your pages are indexed or not at all. If none of your pages can be found by Google, then it may have an issue, as this means no organic traffic at all. And No traffic means no Conversion.

Hello @mahafarys ,
We are AliReviews - All-in-one reviews solution for all businesses.
It's great to see how you officially launch your new site. However, there is a few things we noticed that you may want to change to create a better customer experience.
1. Sticky header:
Consider to make your header sticky so that customers can easily access any categories that they want while scrolling down.
2. Product section:
- Consider to add CTA button or icon to appeal your customers and increase the chance of likelihood to purchase.
- Your products name and price seems not stand out from the picture, consider to have a box around it or make it with a bigger size and use different fonts.
- The text colors and fonts also make your content a little bit hard to read, the font looks formal, you can use another font that looks familiar and friendly like Roboto or Opensans
3. Testimonials:
Reviews also play a good part when it comes to shopping online, people tend to shop based on the good reviews they read. You can use the third-party apps to import your products reviews to build your brand trust and increase the conversion rate. We also provide reviews solution if you interested to find more.
4. Pagespeed Insights:
Your site speed perform quite good on desktop but not so well on mobile version, you can consider to change to another theme that responsive to both desktop and mobile version, optimize your images files, remove any unnecessary code or apps to improve the speed.

Hi there
I did a comprehensive audit of your site and recorded this video (with some additional tips on email marketing)
Feel free to ask me any additional questions
Thanks
Hello @mahafarys,
Gina here from flareAI app.
It's understandable that you are concerned about the lack of sales and abandoned checkouts on your Shopify store. There could be several reasons for this, and it's essential to identify and address them to improve your conversion rate. Here are a few things you can consider:
1. Check your website's usability and design
Make sure that your website is easy to navigate, visually appealing, and has a clear call-to-action (CTA) on every page. A complicated website design, poor product images, or unclear product descriptions could discourage visitors from making a purchase.
2. Optimize your checkout page
Your checkout page should be simple, easy to use, and secure. Ensure that all the necessary fields are clear, and there are no unnecessary distractions or pop-ups that can interrupt the checkout process.
3. Offer competitive pricing
Consider researching your competition to ensure that your product pricing is competitive. If your pricing is too high, it could deter customers from making a purchase.
4. Build trust with your customers
As a new store, it's essential to build trust with your customers. Consider including customer reviews, a secure payment gateway, and an easy return policy to help customers feel more confident in their purchases.
5. Consider marketing and advertising
You mentioned that you were successful in selling your products locally on Instagram. You may need to consider advertising your store on social media and other channels to help drive traffic to your website.
I reviewed your store and below are my suggestions for improvement.
1. Add favicon to help visitors locate your page easier when they have multiple tabs open. Also it will add overall branding consistency and their absence might be seen as unprofessional.
2. Adding product reviews help build trust and loyalty, and most of the consumers will look for feedback before making a purchase decision.
3. You can add testimonials on the home page to make the store look more professional. Testimonials allow your satisfied customers to step forward and address the questions and objections that fill the minds of your prospective buyers for you.
4. Create a Facebook account for your store. Having a Facebook Store is a great way to grow your business, allowing you to tap into new audiences and gain more customers.
5. A FAQ would be useful to provide quick information to help customers make a purchasing decision and also to reduce the time your employees need to answer simple questions.
6. Add more specific product title/url in product pages.
Creating the perfect SEO product title/url can help the search engine understand exactly what it is you are selling and drive more traffic to your site. So try to keep the product title/url unique and more specific.
7. Add average ratings for each product
Including both user rating and number of ratings on the products will help users to make decision whether to buy your product or not.
8. Add sticky header
Adding sticky header allow users to quickly access the navigation, search, and utility-navigation elements without scrolling up to the top of the page. They increase the discoverability of the elements in the header and the chance that users will take advantage of them.
9. Add Blogging in the store
Blogging is an amazing way to drive traffic to your website and increase your SEO. The more your blog, the more content the search engines have to crawl and index. This means they can easily recognize that your site is a resource of information for people to access.
It's important to note that it can take time to build a successful online store, and it's not uncommon to experience slow sales in the beginning. However, by implementing the above tips and monitoring your website's performance, you can improve your chances of making sales and growing your business.
