Feedback for your online store from the community
Hi. Could you please give me some feedback on my store. Also, I'm having some add to carts, some checkouts initiated but only one sale. Do you think that there is something wrong with the checkout page? Thank you
Hi there @Angela33!
I'd be only too happy to take a look at your store and see what your checkout flow is like.
If you can share a link here with me I can have a look around, though in order to fully test out your checkout you should consider creating a test order.
It's always a good idea for a new store to think about how you're going to drive traffic to your website, and how you can work on getting that traffic to convert into customers.
It would generally be the case that a lot of visitors would not necessarily complete an order and check out, but I'm happy to take a look at your store and ensure adding to cart and heading to the checkout are working okay for you.

Hi,
Please share your store URL.
Thank you!😊
Hi again @Angela33!
Thanks for that store link!
I took a look around and managed to add a print to the cart and head to the checkout as a test run.
I was able to get as far as the payment page, but obviously cannot fully complete a test order from here.
I'd still advise you to do so from your end just to rule out any potential issues with that but from what I can see it's all working as intended.
It's also always a good idea to continue to think about how you're going to attract visitors to your store and continue to do so.
Are you working on marketing or promoting the store at the moment?
If you haven't already, it might be a good idea to consider making up a marketing plan to help you organise your thinking in this regard.

Hi @Angela33
All-in-one marketing platform Growave is here. Here are some suggestions that you can work on. I hope it would help.
Add Testimonials / Reviews. I strongly advise adding testimonials/reviews to products for building customer trust and social proof. Testimonials have the ability to increase the confidence of new consumers, something essential to reduce rebound rates and abandonment of shopping carts. Consider adding review widget next to your selling product.
Add Referral program. I recommend using a Referral program in order to give your customers an opportunity of sharing your products with friends and getting rewarded for that. Encourage your customers to help grow your brand community using the referral program. The only program that lets you refer a friend, reward both parties, and increase traffic to your Shopify store.
Consider paid ad on Facebook. Paid form of ad is an effective way to expose your company’s name to a large audience. Paid targeting can be very specific and allows you to reach relevant visitors who are interested in canvas. Analyse your audience to identify common factors such as keywords, locations, demographics, job titles, interests, and common topics and use this data to refine your paid campaigns and attracting more qualified leads.
Add links to your Social Media accounts for customer trust and social proof. Also, any social media platform is a great source for you to gain traffic and conversions.
Add a Blog Page. The blog will make your shop more credible and relatable. The blog will provide new clients with a sense of confidence in their purchases. Also, constantly adding new content to your blog will positively impact SEO and drives traffic to your online store.

Hello @Angela33
Hope you are doing good. Your store looks nice and here are few suggestions.
Highlight the favicon, as it helps to find your store when customer had multiple tabs in their browser.
Add a nice logo which gives Identity and separates from the competition.
Add Testimonials or reviews on the homepage to build trust with the visitors.
Include Blog page, Blog posting will allow you to show your followers a personal side of your business. In this way you can engage with Existing and New customers.
Also Promote your products on social media and Update social links on the footer section.
Make social links open on new tabs.
You can promote your products with word of mouth strategy. Boost your sales with the app from the shopify app store which helps to increase your sales.
There is no terms and conditions checkbox at checkout. I suggest you to install an app from shopify app store which provides 'I agree to the Terms and Conditions' before checkout .As it makes easy for the customer to read your terms and policies.
Its good to have customer review option on the products, so that customer can write a review when they purchase any product from your store. Install Product review app from the Shopify app store.
You can also sell your products on Etsy marketplace as it is very good platform to sell unique, handmade and Vintage goods . If you are already selling on Etsy store consider our Etsy Integration app in the shopify app store. Etsy is a Huge marketplace for selling creative goods such as art & collectibles, crafts & supplies, jewellery &accessories and more, if you have any unique/handmade/vintage goods in your store, you can give further exposure to your products.
Hi @Angela33
I’m Richard Nguyen - CRO Expert at PageFly- Free Landing Page Builder. With over 5 years of experience in providing solutions for over 100.000 stores to help merchants increase their conversion rates. I'd want to provide you with some comments in the hopes that they would be useful to you.
There are some points that you’re doing great, which are:
Also, there’re a few things that I thought you should take into consideration:
1. Include an announcement bar
Essentially, the announcement bar will display information on shipping and discounts, as well as your promotion campaigns. It's the BFCM season now so it's a good idea to try out.
I take this as an example.
2. Left align and increase line spacing of the content
Left-aligned text is easier to read than centered text for paragraphs. This is because when you center your text, the starting place of each line changes. ... Users can read them with ease because the lines are short, scannable, and don't need repeated eye movements. Also you can create a dropdown menu for FAQs, this could be done with PageFly free plan.
3. Adding collections and products to the menu navigation
Menu navigation is like a table of contents that direct visitors to the right place, wherever they currently are. As I was exploring your store, I was a little bit confused about the product options provided so I reach out to the menu but can not find what I need. With that being said, this is a nice option that you could keep in mind.
4. Adding a testimonial section with pictures from customers
And that's my feedback. You can consider checking PageFly - Free Page Builder with 24/7 support live chat to create a more impressive look for your store to really increase conversion, also please take a look at this guide on how to personalize a Shopify store from PageFly, hope it helps!

Hello @Angela33
Hope you are doing well.
I understand how it can be frustrating to be doing everything right but still not getting your traffic converted to sales. You may find comfort in knowing that you're not the only one on that boat. Millions of Shopify store owners are facing the same problem. This is not because you are necessarily doing something wrong, but rather because Sales is an organic process, involving people getting to know you, visiting your brand, looking at your products, comparing them with others, and finally making the decision to purchase from you. So this takes some time, during which you have to hold on tight. But, you can't be just passively waiting for sales to grow, so I would recommend you look at these tips and see which ones you can use: You have great faith in your online shop, but why aren’t visitors converting?
Another Thing you could consider: Not all traffic is good traffic.
Traffic will only have any chance of converting to sales if they are being generated by the right consumer. If your product is for females under the age of 30, but your ads are being viewed by males over 50, that is a lot of traffic, but it will never convert to sales. So, before you spend on targeting, a good idea is to have a simple Google Trends search, that will tell you who is looking for the products you search, what is their age, gender and location. Then you can put forward some really targeted ads that are bound to generate clicks.
Here are some areas where you could consider working on
People tend to buy more from people they can easily relate to. If you share your journey, your goals, and your aspirations with your customers, it will be easier for people to connect with you. If you can create an emotional connection with your visitors, people are sure to buy products from you.
It is a good idea to place a banner on the homepage that tells your customers exactly what they are looking for. You may add a separate banner for each of your product types
Your banner looks very good and matches your theme and product.
It is a good idea to have multiple slides on your banner (each should stay for around 5seconds) for each product type and have the CTA buttons for each slide redirect the customer to a different product page.
Use a star rating widget to let website visitors evaluate your business. They create standardization, allowing customers to compare different products easily. It also helps you get feedback about your products.
Customers read user reviews more than they read product descriptions. If they find that 50 other people have liked your product and have purchased from you, it helps your credibility and they feel safer buying from you. So try to add some reviews of your products and services to your homepage.
Hope this helps you. If you find it useful, leave a like to let me know! Happy Selling! Thank you and the Very Best of Luck to you!
