Been running ads on Facebook for some of my best selling stuff. Have not gotten one sale yet. They keep visiting but not buying. I spent a lot of money for this to be built and apparently these products are hot/trendy.

Hi there,

I'm Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder.

I recently had the chance to explore your website, and I must say, you've done an excellent job creating such an elegant store! I’d love to offer a few suggestions to further enhance its design and boost its conversion rate:

  1. Homepage Optimization
  • Clear Value Proposition: Your homepage should immediately communicate what your store offers and why it’s unique. Add a strong headline and supporting text above the fold to captivate visitors.

For example, instead of “Welcome” text, you can highlight the benefits to the customer, and creates a more engaging and professional first impression with "Empowering Your LifestyElevate Your Lifestyle: Fitness, Electronics & Beauty All in One Place!"

PageFlyKate_0-1736408135172.png

  • Trust Signals: Add trust badges (e.g., SSL secure, payment methods, return policy, warrenty, free shipping, etc.) near the footer or header to establish credibility.

For such a new brand, it’s very important to create credibility and build trust with new customers.

For example:

PageFlyKate_1-1736408135112.png

  1. Product Page Improvements
  • Get more reviews: As abovementioned, it’s crucial to build trust, and social proof is a must-have for eCommerce nowadays. You can drive users to review your product by offering a special offer, or changing “there are no reviews yet” to “Be the first one to review and receive 20% discount on the next order!”

PageFlyKate_2-1736408135072.png

  • Urgency and Scarcity: Add elements like countdown timers for limited offers or stock availability to create urgency. If you have any special offer like a 50% sale, adding a countdown timer can effectively motivate users to make decisions quicker (it’s FOMO!!).

PageFlyKate_3-1736408134940.png

These updates will enhance the user experience, establish trust, and encourage visitors to take the next step toward making a purchase. If you have any questions or need additional support, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Best regards,

Kate

Hi, I’m Wayne from Akohub. We have been working with many brands to run online stores. I have viewed your website and hope our expertise can help you.

Firstly I would highly recommend implementing retargeting campaigns, which focus on re-engaging users who have previously visited your site. Retargeting campaigns are particularly powerful because they remind visitors of the products they viewed, effectively bringing your offerings back to their attention at a crucial moment in their buying journey. This can significantly increase conversion rates, as it targets individuals who have already expressed interest, making them more likely to complete a purchase.

While dynamic ads automatically showcase products based on user behavior, retargeting specifically aims to re-engage users who have interacted with your site but did not convert. This tailored approach can lead to better Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) because it focuses on prequalified those who have already demonstrated interest in your products. By reminding them of what they left behind, you can create a sense of urgency and encourage them to return and finalize their purchases.

To streamline your retargeting efforts, I would recommend our Ako Marketing app. It simplifies the setup of retargeting campaigns, allowing you to easily configure ads that resonate with your audience. With features designed to enhance engagement and track user behavior, Ako Marketing can help you optimize your campaigns for better results. By leveraging retargeting through this app, you can effectively turn those visits into sales, maximizing the investment you've made in your advertising efforts.

Hi @Sheerhearattack,

I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert.

I would be happy to review your website and provide feedback on the performance.  Here are some suggestions to improve the performance of your website and increase sales:

1. Monitor Your Cart Abandonment Rate

A high cart abandonment rate can be particularly frustrating for your business, especially after investing significantly in attracting visitors to your site. This issue indicates that many potential customers are deciding not to complete their purchases, contributing to low conversion rates.

To address this, you can remind customers about the items left in their carts and encourage them to complete their purchases by:

  • Email Reminders: Send emails to customers who abandon their carts, reminding them of their items.
  • Incentives: Offer a discount or free shipping to motivate them to finalize their purchases.
  • For more detailed guidance, refer to an article from the Shopify Help Center

2. Improve promotional banner

You should add seasonal banners for current promotions or collections (e.g., Summer Sale, Winter Collection) to catch the attention of customers.

mageplazacs_0-1736414350234.png

3. Improve search bar

You should make an auto -suggest search bar with large product images, show price and discount information, including color search, collection search, etc functionality to enhance search bar. This will help customers find their needs quickly, enhancing their shopping experience.  Below is a reference:

mageplazacs_1-1736414350157.png

I don’t see your ads so I can’t make detailed recommendations on your landing page. But here are some recommendations from “Databox”. You can check more in this article

“When CTR is high but the conversion rate is low that indicates a problem with the landing page, which is most commonly due to a lack of effective calls-to-action (CTA) on the page. The solution is to create a clear CTA like a “Buy Now” or “Read More” button. The CTA can be a clickable image overlaid with a small amount of text or a simple button.”

I hope my suggestions are helpful. If you find it good comment, it would be appreciated if you could “Like” or “Mark as Solution”. Thank you and Good luck!

Hi @Sheerhearattack

Thanks for reaching out to the Shopify Community! I'm Mia from MooseDesk , your go-to Live Chat, WhatsApp and FAQ App here to help you enhance your customer support experience  😊

It can be frustrating to invest in Facebook ads and see traffic without conversions, but you're not alone, this is a common challenge. It’s great that your products are trending, and you’re driving traffic, so let’s focus on optimizing your store and ads to turn those visitors into buyers. Here are some actionable recommendations:

1. Check the Facebook Ads Funnel
- Targeting: Make sure your audience is well-defined. If your ads are too broad, you might be reaching the wrong people. Narrow down your targeting by demographics, interests, and behaviors that align with your ideal customer.
- Ad Creatives: Use eye-catching visuals and videos that highlight your products' unique value. Make sure the ad clearly communicates what makes your product trendy or useful.
- Offer & CTA: Include a compelling offer, like a discount, free shipping, or a limited-time deal. Use clear and action-driven CTAs, such as "Shop Now" or "Get Yours Today."

2. Improve your Website Experience

2.1 . Revise Your Hero Banner

I notice your Hero Banner lack of a clear slogan & tagline. Add a concise and compelling tagline that reflects your brand’s mission or unique selling proposition (e.g., "Elevate Your Style with Timeless Essentials" or "Discover Elegance, Redefined"). Make the CTA button more visible for better engagement

2.2. Add Trust Signals on the Homepage

Consider to add trust signals to build customer confidence and reduce hesitation when deciding purchases. Some elements might include:

  • Security Badges: Display SSL certification, secure payment options, or “Shop with Confidence” messages near the footer or at checkout reminders.
  • Shipping & Returns Policy: Highlight free shipping or easy returns directly on the homepage.
  • Testimonials or Logos: If you've been featured in publications or collaborated with brands, add a "Trusted By" section with recognizable logos.

2.3. Add Customer Reviews on Product Pages
Consider to create a "Customer Feedback" section toward the bottom of the page to show detailed reviews, including customer images and written feedback to make your product more credible

2.4 4. Revise currrent  FAQ Page

While the FAQ page provides necessary information, it could benefit from better organization and design to enhance clarity and usability. I highly recommend trying MooseDesk, this app provide FAQ page templates that are modern, visually appealing, and customizable to match your brand’s style. With MooseDesk, you can quickly design an FAQ page that is both user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing, without the hassle of coding

personally i find that all I get to FB ads are people replying offering their services for consulting regarding my store. I feel like I'm just paying to be spammed. I discontinued FB ads. They used to be good when you could really target your demo with specific terms. I sell very specific special needs supplies and the most target marketing I can do on FB is "US age 20-70". I miss the days of being able to really target people better based on who is part of what FB group etc. If I could target only people in special needs groups I would 100% run ads, but I'm wasting $ advertising blindly.

Hi @Sheerhearattack

It sounds like you're feeling frustrated, and I completely get that. Running ads and not seeing any sales can be super discouraging, especially when you've invested time and money into it. Let me break it down for you with actionable steps to get things on track.

Quick Audit of Your Store

I checked out advanceessence.com (assuming it's live and the link works). Here are a few points to consider:

1-First Impression Matters

  • Your homepage needs to feel welcoming and trustworthy. If visitors don’t feel an instant connection, they’ll leave. Ask yourself:
    • Is the design clean and modern? Avoid clutter or overwhelming visuals.
    • Do you have a strong hero image or banner that highlights your best-selling products with clear value propositions?

2-Product Pages

  • Make sure your product descriptions are compelling, easy to read, and explain why these products are worth buying. Focus on benefits instead of just features.
  • Add reviews and testimonials (if you haven’t already). They build trust.
  • Include high-quality, zoomable images and videos that show the product in action.

3-Pricing

  • Compare your prices to competitors selling similar "trendy" items. Are your prices competitive, or do they feel too high? If they are higher, do you justify it with unique selling points (e.g., better quality, free shipping)?

4-Trust Signals

  • Add trust badges (like secure checkout icons) and display clear shipping and return policies. People hesitate to buy from a store that feels unreliable.
  • Is there an About Us page? A personal, relatable story can go a long way in connecting with customers.

5-Checkout Process

  • Test your checkout process. Is it smooth, fast, and simple? Too many steps or unexpected fees at checkout can kill conversions.

Why Your Ads Might Not Be Converting

If people are clicking on your Facebook ads but not buying, it’s a sign that something is off in the buyer journey. Let’s pinpoint where:

1-Targeting Issues

  • Are you targeting the right audience? You might be getting clicks from people who aren’t genuinely interested in your products.
  • Use tools like Facebook Audience Insights to refine your audience and focus on high-intent buyers.

2-Ad Creatives

  • Does your ad clearly communicate the product’s value? If the ad doesn’t match the landing page, people get confused and leave.
  • Try running A/B tests with different visuals, copy, and call-to-action buttons to see what resonates.

3-Landing Page Disconnect

  • If the ad promises something that isn’t reflected on the product page, visitors feel misled and leave. For example, if your ad says “50% off,” make sure that’s visible right away on the landing page.

4-Retargeting

  • Are you running retargeting ads? People rarely buy on their first visit. Use tools like Facebook Pixel to retarget those who visited but didn’t purchase.

Practical Steps to Turn Things Around

Here’s a game plan for you:

1-Run a Session Recording Tool

  • Tools like Hotjar or Lucky Orange show how visitors interact with your site. This can help you identify where they drop off and why.

2-Improve Your Offer

  • If your products are “trendy,” highlight what makes yours unique. Free shipping, a limited-time discount, or a bundle deal can nudge people to buy.

3-Build Social Proof

  • Leverage Instagram or TikTok to showcase your products with real people using them. User-generated content (UGC) can drive authenticity.

4-Email Capture

  • If visitors aren’t buying, at least get their email. Offer a discount (e.g., “Get 10% off your first purchase”) in exchange for signing up, and follow up with a cart recovery email sequence.

Here’s a simple retargeting ad funnel to try:

  1. Ad Set 1: Awareness
Target cold audiences with engaging ads that introduce your products. Focus on eye-catching visuals or a short video.
  2. Ad Set 2: Retargeting
Retarget people who visited your store but didn’t buy. Use urgency (e.g., “Don’t miss out!”) or testimonials in your retargeting ads.
  3. Ad Set 3: Conversion
Show retargeting ads with discounts to those who added items to their cart but didn’t check out.

If you’re open to sharing specifics like your ad creatives, target audience, or bounce rate, I’d be happy to dive deeper.

If you need any other assistance, feel free to reply and I will try my best to respond.
Best regards,
Daisy
