Seeking Constructive Feedback and Insights

I'm reaching out for your valuable insights and feedback on my e-commerce store, Fashinit (https://fashinit.com/). Having transitioned from a background in digital b2b marketing and sales at a kidswear manufacturing company, I'm now opened e-commerce store for myself. I am a newbie at b2c. I do not work with dropshipping business type. Manufacturer is my uncle who is running busines in Turkey. My market is Canada/USA.

I've implemented several sales boosters, like email automation and Meta pixels, and promotions like free shipping.I'm eager to learn what more I can do to enhance my store's appeal and effectiveness.

I did not get any order yet. My Meta Ads working for 2 days for now. I did not get any and i do have many scammers try to "improve" my site etc. It came to me strange how many they are even if i did not target these countries or nationalties of them in my ads. I feel like it is spending my marketing budget since they discover my website from ads. Not sure.

(i import product reviews from manufacturer's b2c website which was i worked before. I hope it is not unethical.)

This is an accepted solution.

I looked at your store. From an SEO perspective, my suggestion is to add some structured data (JSON-LD) to your products. It will help Google better understand your products helping to improve rankings, and improve how you appear in Google search results.

The easiest way to add that data is by using an SEO app from the app store

Hi Saffet_okyay,

This is Amee from Gojiberry - Shopify Survey & Feedback App

First of all, I love the look of your site. It looks professionally done and welcoming. I come from a BtoC background and am now in BtoB, so I think switches in thinking are needed as you crossover! Here are some ideas on how to increase conversion:

1. Improve on SEO. Your site already looks amazing. Putting more time into the description and adding more SEO keywords can help your items be searched more easily on Google. Also, check to see how you can get on Google Shopping.

2. Create a blog. I am a big proponent of storytelling in creating a personality for the business. Cater stories (funny, touching, emotional) for your target audience. Something a parent will most likely read and discover on your site!

3. Video content. I saw that you have started an Instagram. If you have more video content or working with influencers to produce this content, this can go pretty far.

4. Ask your customers! (Most effective for increasing conversion) When you have some converting customers, ask them how they found out about your shop. You can easily do so with a post-purchase survey app, and reward your customers with coupons/points to keep them coming back again. Once you find out your strongest marketing channel, focus more effort and money on that.

Hope this helps!

Hi Amee,

Thank you for your valuable advice. I'm taking immediate steps to improve my SEO and will be starting Google Shopping ads this week. Also, I'm planning to create engaging blogs as part of my content strategy. Regarding video content and working with influencers, I'm a bit unsure where to start, particularly in finding affordable options. Any tips on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @saffet_okyay

I'm Garicia from PageFly, a page builder, based on my experience in working with thousands of merchants. I was browsing your website, and I have to say, I'm absolutely loving your overall aesthetic and brand voice! However, based on my experience in optimizing hundreds of online stores, I also noticed some areas where we could potentially skyrocket your conversion rates  by implementing some strategic tweaks and enhancements.

1. Add a analytics tool - GOOGLE ANALYTICS 4 in your website:

a. An analytics tool will provide you with valuable information about your website traffic, user behavior, and marketing performance, allowing you to make data-driven decisions to improve your store's appeal and effectiveness

b. It's free for us to use and many tutorial videos on Social Media you can find easily

2. Optimize the website

a. Add ALT Text to the product image:

  • Google and other search engines read alt text to understand the content of an image and rank it in search results. This can increase organic traffic to your product page.
  • Including relevant keywords in your alt text can help your product rank higher in search results.
  • Including relevant keywords in your alt text can help your product rank higher in search results.

b. Do not use the transparent Call-to-action button on background (image having too much detail like that)

  • Low Visibility: When the background image has too much detail, it can be difficult to see the CTA button clearly. This can lead to users overlooking the button altogether and missing out on the opportunity to convert.

c. Add some popular urgency creator elements

  • Countdown Timers: Visualizing the time remaining creates a sense of scarcity and encourages visitors to act quickly before they miss out. This is particularly effective for limited-time offers, flash sales, or expiring discounts.
  • Progress Bars: Displaying the progress of a sale or promotion, like how many items are left or how much of the discount goal has been reached, can create a sense of urgency and encourage visitors to join in before it's too late.
  • Stock Counters: Showing the limited quantity of a product in stock can create a sense of scarcity and encourage visitors to purchase before it's sold out. This is especially effective for limited-edition items or popular products.

d. Use 2 other color for the next section

  • Visual hierarchy: Different colors create visual separation between sections, making the content easier to digest and navigate. This can improve the user experience and encourage them to explore further. A single color palette can become visually monotonous, especially on longer pages. Using another color adds visual interest and keeps the user engaged.
  • Add one more section for each collection, this will help users can easily navigate and find what they truly want

PageFlyGarcia_1-1702431115609.pngf. Optimize your product detail

  • Add rating of numbers of feedback: When customers see numerous positive reviews, they feel less apprehensive about buying the product, as the perceived risk is lower. This reduces hesitation and encourages them to proceed with the purchase.
  • Add compared price: Reduced Shopping Cart Abandonment - Customers who see a competitive price compared to other options are less likely to abandon their cart and search elsewhere for a better deal.

g. Transform your website into a holiday sales powerhouse, and PREPARE FOR CHRISTMAS

  • Craft irresistible gift guides and product recommendations: Make it easy for shoppers to find the perfect gifts for their loved ones with curated selections and personalized recommendations.
  • Create captivating holiday-themed landing pages and pop-ups: Highlight your best deals and promotions with festive designs and compelling CTAs.
  • Use pre-made templates to build the holiday page, in case you have limited budget:

Hello Garcia,

Thank you for your suggestions. I'm already working on integrating Google Analytics 4 into my site. Regarding the alt text for images, most of my product images already have this, but I’ll ensure to complete the rest. You made a great point about the visibility of the CTA button, and I will work on improving that. I agree with your observations on product listings, and I'm glad you liked them. As for the Christmas preparations, my product range is a bit limited at the moment, but I will do my best to create a festive atmosphere on the site.

Hi GasperLe,

Thank you for your feedback. I will definitely take a closer look at the CTA button - it seems to be a common point of interest in the feedback I'm receiving. Appreciate the tips on the quick view button too; I'll make sure it's more visible. I'm also in the process of figuring out the best option for a chat box on the site. And yes, adding the shipping and return policy directly on the product page is a great idea, I'll implement that as well.

Thanks again for your helpful insights.
