Seeking Honest Feedback on Website Design & Functionalit

Hey everyone,

This is my first time posting here, and I’d really appreciate some honest feedback on my website’s design and functionality. I updated the site in the first week of this year from Dawn to Pipeline, You’ll also notice that our website has a very dark theme—almost entirely black. This was a deliberate choice to align with our brand identity. We experimented with other colors, but black resonates best with our aesthetic.

Any feedback—big or small—would be incredibly helpful.

Welcome to the community. Overall it is a good-looking website, dark suits the brand. Good images and use of icons.

But here are a few things that you may consider changing:

Homepage: 

  • The announcement bar slider is a bit distracting, think you could just have one ling on the left that leads to maybe a separate page where free shipping is described in detail.
  • The menu has too many items. Think I read somewhere that 7 should be maximum but less is optimal. You have 12. Home you do not need, as most people know to click on logo for home. You could maybe move "New", " Back in stock" and gift cards to the top on the right in the same line as Free Shipping on the left.  "Collabs"," Mono", "Our mission" and " Stockist" could go under new "About Us" dropdown but I guess this way is more visible.
  •    The hero image is good, a bit big, and the text I think should be at the center. "For view products" try "Shop now" because you do not want customers to just to view them right 😁
  • 3 icon text blocks should have more space between them and be aligned better
  • Both videos are good but could use a call-to-action button in center
  • Can you adjust reviews a bit, I see 3 the same ones in the  center from EmmaB

Collection:

  • For me, both the product title and price font size is too small, maybe you wanted to put titles in one line but try maybe to experiment with a slightly bigger number

Product:

  • For me outline add to cart button is not good enough. It looks ok but it does not attract enough attention. Could be a full background, white, or some accent color.
  • You could use a sticky Add to Cart block. As you have good content, people will scroll but they should still be reminded to click add to cart button.
  • Your products give you a good opportunity to offer some bundles, rings + necklaces,s or bracelets. Offer a small discount and sell more 😀

Checkout

  • I think you should match your checkout colors to the rest of the website, currently, it is a bit of a shock after you got used to a black background
  • Update the Contact Information link in checkout. There you have a Gmail email but on some other page, you have info @ your domain. In general, I like to see a full business detail, like address, phone (even this can be spammed) and even some business registration number.

 

But like I said it is a good website but with some room to improve. Maybe more user videos besides reviews.

  • Text Clarity: While the tagline "Japanese Jewellery to the World" is engaging, consider making the font size slightly larger or adding a contrasting overlay to ensure it's legible on all devices.
  • Add CTA Buttons: Place a primary CTA below the tagline to direct users to shop or learn more about the collections.

FAQs in the Description

Include quick FAQs within the description or in collapsible sections:

  • “Is this ring adjustable?”
  • “How do I care for my ring?”
  • “How long does shipping take?”

Key Selling Points

Include trust badges/icons near the "Add to Cart" button:

  • “1-Year Warranty Included”
  • “Secure Checkout Guaranteed”

Live Chat Integration

Add a live chat option for real-time customer queries (e.g., sizing advice or shipping questions).
