Hello!

 

On our Shopify account we have wholesale and retail customers. We a new customer applies for a wholesale account it would give us this option to send an invite for them to create their own password. Now that option is gone. Is anyone else having this issue when adding new customers?

recently Shopify shifted to magic-link logins on the new account setup, so the old “Send invite to set password” button can disappear.

If you keep the classic password-creation flow, go to Settings > Customer accounts and switch back to Classic customer accounts. Then under Customers, you’ll see the “Send account invite” option again when you add or edit a wholesale applicant.
