Shotica.myshopify scam or legit

Is there any info on shotica.myshopify regarding whether or not it is a scam site or not?

To me, that does tick all the boxes to be a scam store. We wrote an article about it :

But let me point out a key red flags:

• No real domain name, still a myshopify.com store. If someone can not invest at least that, you start to wonder.
• A free Shopify theme. Note, free themes are OK, but because they are easy to set up a lot of scammers do use them. 
• Prices: 70% "clearance" sale, yeah maybe but most likely it is price that is too good to be true. Price does not matter if you do get nothing.
• Looks like products images are from "https://bp4uphotographerresources.com/products/new-bundle-complete-digital-newborn-backdrop-bundle-a...  a domain that is more than 9 years old.
• Lack of contact information: just 2 different emails: photographyresources2 at outlook.com and allthingsphotography4you at gmail.com. This is crucial for me for any store. If you can contact the owner by phone and other is no business details, you really can not know from who do you buy .from.

So there is a small chance that the store is in the making but I doubt it. Do not waste your time and money.

Thank you.  I did make a purchase. I guess I will contact the cc company.  I was suspicious, but this Rebecca J Lee (contacted through messenger) made some convincing answers to my questions.   But after a couple days I haven’t gotten any shipping confirmation.  Today I messaged her that I want confirmation today.  Also, after tge purchase I received no formal purchase confirmation

First, I hope that I am wrong and you get your order.  But you should get both confirmations about payment and shipping.

For a refund, you can contact your bank and explain the situation. Hope you do get money back.

I finally received the order verification and shipping info.  So I guess it is not a scam after all.  Curiously, in order to track the shipment one must download an app entitled Shop.  I haven’t done that as yet.

But that is an issue with a lot of new stores.

We will see when and if the package arrives.  Wonder why it is not trackable through normal carriers?  Did  they ship via Express?

Hello again. So I wasn’t getting a tracking number or carrier info.  So I reported a possible scam to my cc company yesterday afternoon. Then this morning USPS notifies me of a delivery from Kentucky arriving Oct 5.  Still

no notification from Shotica.  I didn’t order anything from anybody in Kentucky.  I suspect it us from shotica.  It will be interesting to see who sent it.  In the meantime I busted a scammer on facebook marketplace selling the same camera under two different names and

places.  It’s scammer paradise out there!

Not getting product. Was reimbursed by credit card company.  Shotica is definitely a scam site!!!  The shopify legal page you suggested is useless.  Fine print says they won’t do anything about a scam. Jyst says contact your cc company.  Thanks gor your conversations.

I finally received order confirmation and shipping verification.  So it appears Shotica is legit. We will see when the package arrives. Curiously, one must download the app entitled “Shop” to track the package.  I don’t know why it is not trackable via normal shipping companies or USPS.  Maybe it’s coming via Pony Express??

No doubt anout it!  Shotica.myshopify is definitely a scam site.  I received a purchase verification that said the camera was ready to ship, but they didn’t ship it.  No response from them when questioned.  And the shopify.com complaint link is useless.  Small print says they won’t do anything to help of you are scammed.  Just contact your credit card company.  Shopify doesn’t care!
